okay if I sent you the stream info and specifically said to stream @ 64kpbs for now THERE IS A FREAKING REASON FOR IT!!!

do not stream @ 128kbps unless you asked permission first and I allowed it.

Also, make sure your song titles are not longer than 60 CHARACTERS Example here > http://www.mpcforum.com/showpost.php?p=944588&postcount=95

Shoutcast is a very bandwidth consuming thing so I cannot just have anyone streaming @ 128kbps, killing our bandwidth, unless I specifically know who is doing it.

If you ask permission first I will check our bandwidth use and if I can allow it I will let you stream @ 128kbps otherwise we will have to c`ome up with some kind of comprimise.

The reason I specifically recomended using SAM for streaming is because it can auto-encode the music while streaming, I am sre there are plugins for winamp to do the same and pehpas other programs can be configured to do this as well, but I myself cannot help you set this up unless you have SAM running.

I have taken server down for the time being since I cannot be sure that the person doing this will not reconnect and do the same thing again without reading my post, server will be back up in an hour or so probably since I don't think having the server down all night willl be good, but I am tired and it is late so there is a chance I might forget to get it back up before I go to sleep, if I do.... well.... life is full of shit, sorry bout that.

yeah I know 128kbps is better sound quality, but it's just that without knowing who is doing it and without me keeping tabs on the people who stream at the higher bitrates, it is possible and very easy to kill alot of our bandwidth, which is not something I want to happen anytime soon.

Well I guess you could catch the next plane to his doorstep ;)
Hopefully it won't have to come to kicking his/her ass, and they'll behave :)

Can you speak english instead? I can't understand that. (Unless it's giberrish, then I take back what I said before.)

a) not english, b) gibberish so don't worry about it ;)

Also, something I added to luck's statement, but I want to write again here...

Make sure your song titles are not longer than 60 CHARACTERS

Example: $artist$ - $title$
