Well as you can see, im new here...sorry about the english..
I usually just read and try to not make questions... But since a week or more im trying to run the walker, in a priv C2 serv official rate (exp x1, dropx1, etc)... 1st tryed with the OGG...all versions...
Many errors occured... from verify fail to cannot connect to login server (loginserver fail)... I downloaded a sniffer to check what connections were opened... The hostname, (ipadress) that apears in the L2.ini was not what i got from the sniffer... and i know that was my mistake...but, where the hell is the ip?
The .ini file was not encrypted, so... (i had to remove the pasted .ini file cuz there was an url...)
After getting the ip, and port (the usual port), i set the OGG with this values... but same problem... Login serv failed... And i know that all the values like protocol, ip, and port are the right ones...so i gave up...thinking that was an antibot patch... Maybe i subestimate the server....
Well, what really takes me here (sorry for this very long post), is the fact that now im trying the IG walker... Obviusly, it works (i guess)... no configs needed...
But... when i press the home key in game (to open the IG window), the interface of the IG tilts, i mean, it appears and disapears... so i cannot set any option... In the fight...with the window (o.O), i read, in some part, that i must let the game run in window mode, pressing ALT+ENTER... But WTF! how i make the L2 run in window mode???
Im trying everything right now... editing the L2.ini, Option.ini, etc... i set the L2 resolution to 640x480 =S trying to force it, but dunno how...
Later ill try installing the game in Win 98, after a rellocation of partitions
Dunno what to do...i read all the forums about L2 walker...all says the same... but no1 talk about a problem with the windomed mode...There is something i missed?
