when i play online games like rtcw, artifacts and dots start showing up. I have a nvidia card and it WAS overclocked but now it is at stock. The problem still comtinues. Did i burn some component in my card?

most likely yes. even though u returned the card to stock speeds the damage is already done.

next time u overclock upgrade the cooling and test.

idk wolfenstein has always done that to me, i dont think its ever happened to me for any other game ive ever played

That's why overclocking is only recommended for those that are either really rich or actually have the thorough knowledge and experience of overclocking because otherwise it just isn't worth it. Next time get a cooling system like scruie suggested :)
