Heya guys,
I wasn't quite sure what to write in the subject, so I hope you found it quite descriptive to the message's content.
As I was informed, Virtuosofriend probably told you of a minor error I had with my computer a day or so ago. Well, that minor problem was just the camouflage for a huge problem that occured just last night...
All my troubleshooting done to my computer direct me to suppose that my CPU burned out. I have a few ideas for the causes, but nothing solid just yet, I am still running a series of solutions in my mind to figure out ways of getting the CPU to work again.
Everything goes into the booting process, and as you know, the next thing to kick in is the motherboard which will take you through the next processes. The motherboard is completely fine besides that "minor technicality" that causes everything. In any case, since I have thought of all ways possible to solve this, and I have run into a dead end.
I have finally decided that I should let that motherboard rest for a while and I will be upgrading the entire computer. I was hoping to delay it until after Christmas to get far better deals, but under these circumstances I cannot help it. You are probably wondering why I am able to send you this thread and let you know why I won't be around for a while. Well, for that and the ability to do my troubleshooting and other things, I must give credit to my other two computers. If I didn't have them, I would not be able to do much with one non working computer and would have to give it in for repair to computer shops that I would not trust my computer with them. I remember giving in a cd rom drive because it was beyond my ability to fix due to it requiring special precision tools found only in the factories that created the drive. I still haven't heard from them about it (apart from the "We can't fix it") nor have I been able to get it back.. Typical..
Anyway, until I have gotten the new equipment and have remodelled the computers with the new parts and the new motherboard, I will not be able to be online a lot, if even able to be online.
