Erm it's me. the one that contacted you over msn... I need a lot of help learning WPE. I got the WPE 0.9a. The problem for most noobs like me is the interest to change from client sided TSearch to Server sided WPE/Olly. :ermm: I would like to ask any trainer to help me in my progress of learning How to correctly use WPE. Some thngs i do know how to do is making use of filters but i would want to make my own filter, search for things i want to search, not leech and wait for others to do filters for me. Hardworking :rambo: but dun have the environment. so i hope to learn who to ue WPE from u all. Master it and contribute back. Anybody in this forum is fit to call me a noob cause i am a noob. U wanna call me a leecher? I dun mind also. :cross-eye Currently i am one but i want to break out of those Discriptions. I am willing to learn. The Hex code is something i dun quite understand. Is it explainable? How do i know which value to edit before re sending? Teach me please. Sorry for the long post... :nervous:

It's good that you want to learn and contribute back to the comunity, we need more ppl like you :)
The best advice i could give you right now is search the net/MPC for tutorials reguarding packet editing. It's not an easy task and personally, i don't use external packet editors anymore. Once you get to know how packets are created and recieved in a game, you can acctually tell the game itself to send altered packets. That way you don't need to worry about encryption since the game encrypts the pakets for you.

Never heard about that approach before. So you mean like by setting a breakpoints on the winsock send functions? Which games did you do this for? Just curious :)

Well, hacking a game by sending packets is abit overrated nowdays... old games didn't have protections, but new games are really hard to PacketHack.

Otherwise, yes, you got the main idea, if you find the packet sending function of any game, you can just alter the HEX code before the packet is sent... you'll have to _SuspendThread while you alter them though since they're stored in a buffer only for a very short time before they're sent.

sending isn't the only way to hack a game... u can simply block server packets ;)
Some fps are really easy to hack with wpe, the enemy hit you, u log the action, find the hit, sey to wpe to block all incoming hits and u are a god :P
Works really fine with gunzonline hehe
