hey all
i downloaded gdcs1.3 and vac2 disabler...i dont use them ...well however my virus scanner (antivir xp) says those files have some java script virus... well thats just not nice...i deleted em..

can u simplify that down so we understand why virus protection are funny about it?

or is there no way ppl like would understand without some sort of trainin

The VAC2 disabler doesn't work anyway and may contain a virus, but I don't think so.

GDCS 1.3 is a safe file (however, you should use GDCS 1.4 as it's the newer version). AntiVir is known for generating false positives, so I can advise you to find another free virusscan. :)

it is gdcs 1.4 i think but the file's name is gdcs1.3.zip :S welll however i downloaded it from that sticky^^

Get this the gdcs 1.3 dont have any virus!

just use bit defender, it is winner in most av tests i think. i never had a wrong virus warning with bit defender.
and gdcs 1.3 and 1.4 are both virus free.

Affirmative!

The reason Norton detects things as virus, is sometimes it classes them as a hack tool (e.g. gdcs 1.4) and so dosnt let you download them, but also some .exe files have the same general code as a virus, so it detects them. they say there gonan fix it...
