int = magic attack/magic defense

the more int you have the more damage you will do, and the less damage you receive from magical attacks

dex = lessens cast time of skills or spells

the faster you cast spells the better

i think stats distribution for mage class isn't much of a trouble since you can focus mainly on these 2 stats (int/dex), but you might want also to have some vit if you love pvp. but i guess you will do better if you max out both int/dex.

im a dex wiz myself... leveling up is very easy if your dex is 99...maxing both int and dex leaves you with a very small amount for vit.. which means you won't survive against the hunters which is the usual suspect of killing wiz in pvps and woe too...

my stats are: int 89 dex99 agi5 luck 7 str 1

im planning to experiment on having an int wiz...any suggestions???

Well my opinion is this. If u really wanna own pvp, mvp or even woe.

Go max int dex why?

1. U cast faster and stronger spells.
2. I usually go 2 pvp rooms w/ a FS or a strong party. And safety wall owns.
3. As a wielder, u can mvp most monsters w/ a good party.
4. Fast casters are a necessity for woe. And u always have an fs to help u ryt.
5. U probably wont solo lvl anyways, but if u do just b sure u have 50% def just in case.

Its just a matter of preference. Just look at pRO loki, the pvp rooms and woe are spawning w/ fast casting freaks.

Anyways, its as they say...

Soulstrike is a fast cast spell but it eats alot of sp. And i think spell damage is reduced by 45% in woe (just my opinion).

my opinion on soulstrike:
ive been addicted to 1on1 with other wizzies, (just to prove whos the better wiz)...and i think SS is very good use... another thing is it is a very good combo for JT especially if the enemy is FROZEN.. its almost like an overkill..but then again it all boils down to your FS...if ur FS is really really GOOD then...no prob..you kill anything that tries to cross your way (except maybe for a crusader or a sage)hehe

question:
how about frost nova?? meteor storm??? anything you know about these skills??

fire pillar really hurts and i think its a big use...

level of sp recov for wiz??? i set my sp recov to 1 since my party will magnificat anyway...opinion???

yeah. i agree to jaypeeb. sp recov is not that important. because with high int. you can recover your sp in no time! haha. unless you keep casting spells simultaneously.. just add sp recov for other skill requirements. there's magni anyways.. just an opinion. ^^

amen to that ginotot!!! anyway when you limit your sp recov 2 one you can add more skills to your wiz which makes you a damn<---(sorry for the word/gawi) good wiz...and it means you have to beat me to be the first /gg
