MPC radio keeps being down more and more. What can we do about this? I have thought it over and came up with the next idea...

The biggest MPC show ever!
Step 1: A few people need to plan and arrange a big show on MPC radio. We need the mods for this to advertise it, but we also need to have a few tryouts (like trying to do a talkshow first :) )

Step 2: After that, we should talk to EVERY DJ and arrange a day and an hour to come together on IRC, <#mpcradio>. Here we can make a schedule who will be DJing when exactly. We also need a public schedule, to attract a bigger audience.

Step 3: Prepare your show. Make it the best one you ever did. We need this to get people to listen more often.

Step 4: This is specific to luck. GET MORE DJ's. If this "stunt" works: you need to have a radio that is up almost 24/7. Only like this, the radio will survive.

==> DJs spin more! As much as your bandwidth can have.

To finish I also want to say that I want to make this really big. It's of no use when you make a small show, you can do that on your own...

well the entire server was down last night so.... that is another problem.

I will get more djs when competent people apply, ones that can read the rewquirements I set out.

As for advertising just say what you need and I will do whatever is in my power to support you.

i start back playing when they find a solution to fix the server down problem.
cause it doesnt render when the server is down when you want to play .
so i see you guys maybe back soon

With 3 or 4 its not possible, we need (lots) more DJs, preferably with a bit experience... We need to make this show good, we need it... :)

Apply for it. btw: we should do some sort of test for new DJs so we know that we are getting more experienced DJs. :)

i could be a dj lol i have about 10,00 songs on my pc :) but the problem is i dont really know how to like broadcast the songs or w/e

Good we need a time to meet on IRC, people. It should be when (almost) everyone can come. Here we can discuss about the schedule, a talkshow and about some additional things we could do.

well i'm back and ready to spin again, let me know when it is going to happen and i'll be there(if i can) I'm always willing to do the best show i can even if it means feeling like crap the next day(it wouldn't be anything new)

Let do it somewhere in November, we still have alot of work to do, but we should make it by then. Lets try to put it on a concrete date. Also we have to put up a scheme for the DJ's so people can come specially for that one DJ instead of just having to rely on luck. On the MPC-show day we should get 20 listeners if we play our cards right. ;)
