Before all, this is a simple guide
You'll need:
*An IRC program (try mIRC (http://www.mirc.com))
*The domain address (lol)
Let's suppose that you're trying to connect to EuphRO. When you open the clientinfo file you'll get the ip "euphro.game-server.cc" that is the address that will redirects you to the real IP of the server (numeric).
If you put this address in servers.txt of the bot config it'll not connect because you need the real IP address, wich is numeric.
To get it, open mIRC, connect to some server (anyone) and type:
/dns euphro.game-server.cc (euphro case)
And you'll get:
* Dns resolved euphro.game-server.cc to 206.222.22.162
So 206.222.22.162 is the real IP of the server and this is what you need!
Now, anytime you get connecting error you just need to do this because the IP's server can have changed. Remember that "euphro.game-server-.cc" is just a redirecting address!
This tutorial isnt by me bbut i used the same method.
