can anyone make a set of models and weapons.. nades..etc for dod:s

so we can use it with juggulojohn's changer??

and also juggulojohn.. do you think you can add at ctrl+q function to quit your program in your next release??

im using beta 3.5

i notice on my machine.. once the models are loaded.. and deleted out of the folder.. i do not have to reload it again.. even if i disconnect... rejoin another server.. whatever.. unless i exit the game.. i dont have to ctrl+p again..

maybe this is because of system ram?? if you have enough ram .. it wont need to load from hd again??

i donno.. but a ctrl+q function to quit the process would be awesome.. thanks :bunny:

SupremeSpeed already made some. Just copy the modlechanger folder... delete the player an weapon folders. Replace them with Supreme's. Then open settings.txt and edit the line to be:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\>>Account Name<<\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models

it works.. but the changer can't delete whats in /player because "amercans" and "german" isnt the same as ct_urban .. so if john can please release a version for dod:s that would be awesome..

also the weapon colored models dont show up

You can alt-tab out to Windows and delete them manually after you reload the models in the console. I usually join the spectators and do that, then join a team. If you put the mat.cfg file in the DOD:S cfg folder you can bind a key to do the reload:

bind "<any key>" "exec mat"

I agree, it would be great if he could update it if he has the time to do it! ;)

I have already made that program. Right now it does models but i will now implement weapons too because i see that someone has released some.. anyways i have had my hack done since the 1st day the game came out.... I just didn't want to release it yet.. Look for it in a day or so... I am making a multi game hack.. my hack will work for dod and cs... same hack never hack to use diff programs..

dude,wtf,i ordered dod source over steam and i go into the materials folder but the only folder i see is temp,no models,i go into the dod source,blah blah blah but no models in the materials folder

Then create it, all files are stored in your GCF. When the game cant locate a file in your main folder, it looks for it in the GCF and loads it from there. You need to make the folders manually.

dude,wtf,i ordered dod source over steam and i go into the materials folder but the only folder i see is temp,no models,i go into the dod source,blah blah blah but no models in the materials folder u ordered DoD:S over steam, u preloaded it, but did u update it? other wise theres just a big file in ur system with no valid files
