Supremespeed's hack guide.

Since so many people have been having trouble with Supremespeed's wallhack/models here's the simplest way to make it work. It works on retail or steam-aquired versions.

1. Download the hack, make a folder on your desktop (name it whatever u want) and extract the entire thing to it.

2. go to ...steamapps/*your name*/day of defeat: Source/dod/materials. you should see "temp" and "VGUI" (some people dont have a VGUI, thats ok too) right click any empty space in there and go to new -> folder and name it "models" without the quotes.

3. now you are set, go into a server, alt-tab out of the game, and put those two folders you downloaded called "player" and "weapons" into the folder you just made called "models"

4. go back into the game, hit console ( ` key above tab, if it wont open, enable console in options -> keyboard -> advanced) and type Mat_reloadallmaterials and give it a second. you might time out on dod_anzio.

5. hack that shiz up :leb:

look in this forum, there is a thread called "complete wallhack/models" by supremespeed, you get a link to the download there. it's a wallhack/model pack, I believe the wallhacks are called ZXQ or something like that. and all u do is add a folder called models in your materials folder of DoD:S and after joining a server alt-tab, add the two files u downloaded into the models folder, and go back into the game and do mat_reloadallmaterials in console.

thx much, i got 1 more question (im asking here cuz my puter is slow and i gotta go to work soon).

i read in the other thread (or 1 like it) that you gotta press like ctrl+p to load it, and like ctrl+(some letter) to delete the files between games. if we dont delete them will we get banned from vac/steam?

well, thats if you use the model changer (you can find it on this forum) but it's very buggy, it's still beta. those commands are if u use the model changer. i prefer doing it myself, but i forgot to mention... when you are playing, and the score shows up by itself meaning the map is about to change, quickly alt-tab and remove the "player" and "weapons" folders and go back into the game. if u do it quick enough, you'll beat the map change so it wont detect it. then once you're on the map alt-tab and add those folders and do mat_reloadallmaterials again and you're good for the map. or you could be one of the lucky ones that get to use the model changer without problems. i myself, like a lot of people, get the "overflow" error when trying to add or delete the files with ctrl+p and ctrl+o.

Tips:
1. Even if you dont beat the map change, 99% of the time it'll give you a consistency error and you just remove them and reconnect into the server, but it's quicker to try to beat the map change.
2. playing on a server where it's 24/7 [map] with endless rounds is good, because you dont have to worry about map changes.
3. keep the dod/materials/models folder open while you play for quick access
4. try keeping up with the "timeleft" so you know when it'll happen.
5. hack that shiz up ;)

the model changer doesnt change models... it just copies them into the right directory for you, so you dont have to alt-tab. and also deletes them for you when you need it to.

so wait, is this the 1 with the color coded models? like i know it doesnt switch them, but does it make them glow or something thru walls or can u see thru walls or what? (ill find out 2marrow if u dont answer by then)

probably not then, unless ur really lucky and the model changer works for you. there is a thread about the error you get on this forum, check it out.
