[RELEASE] CS:S/DOD:S Model Changer 4.0

OK I Decided to release my 4.0 version of JuggaloJohns Model Changer..

The CS:S model Changer is pretty much still the same... I fixed a few small bugs and some other things.

I added DOD:S model changes now.. You can now add weapons and Models to DOD:S...


Here is the Readme...

OK READ THIS FIRST!!!!!!!!

UNZIP THE FOLDER ANYWHERE ON YOUR COMPUTER BUT VALVE FOLDER!!!! THEN RUN THE PROGRAM THATS IT!!!!!

Added you can set the auto delete time and you can choose to enable it or not.

Added DOD:Source Weapons and Models. Thx to SupremeSpeed for hacked models and weapons

INSTALL DIRECTIONS:

README FOR SWJ MODEL CHANGER 4.0 BETA - BY JuggaloJohn

For this program to work you must first open your settings file located in the same directory where you extracted this program.

You must change the settings to look like this: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOUR_STEAM_USERNAME_HE RE

Make sure to put your username in there so the files can be copied correctly.


Now copy the Mat.cfg file into your CS:S cfg folder and your DOD:S cfg Folder

CSTRIKE: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\STEAM_USERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg

DOD: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\STEAM_USERNAME\day of defeat source\dod\cfg


After coping the mat.cfg file then open the CS:S Console and type "Bind "I" "exec mat.cfg"

Now open up DOD:S Console and type "Bind "I" "exec mat.cfg"


You are now done setting up the program...


Open the program and choose the options you want for whatever game... the program works for both games!!!!

After you choose the options you want for the games then load whatever game you want to play

then press CTL + P A few times to make sure the files get copied over... No Errors will occur if you do this right.

After hitting CTL + P wait like 5 seconds then hit "I" .. Remember your binded Mat.cfg To "I" Earlier in the setup.

Hitting "I" Will reload the models and weapons and now they all should be colored.. If not try hitting it again.


Exiting the program will save all settings so when you load it back up the same settings should still be there.


Now open the program before you open CS:S

use the auto delete feature... the program will auto delete the files for you before the server changes map.... if you want the program to delete them right away or at any time press CTL + O a few times....

ok i press ctrl+p while loading dod:s and i get a runtime error '76' "path not found".

i renamed the paths in the settings.txt to the right paths. what's my problem?

dunno just make sure you have the paths set correctly.... the path is case sensitive..

ok i got it to work. i didn't have a "models" folder for dod yet, so i had to create one.

works flawlessly for both cs:s and dod:s. great hack!

lol im better at everything when im waisted, i was playing cs 1 time waisted 100% legit and i got thrown out of my clan ive been in for years cuz they thought i was hacking. it was like a cs_1337_assault server with 500hours of play so i played for a long time with a score like 150-20. it was funny as ****, i explained to them and they let me back in

Great stuff. When your ready to use it, uncheck the DOD source settings if you are going to use it for CS:Source. I had the same problem. Works flawlessly now. No more errors.

Hey I was wondering, when I use this all the models go through the walls like a wallhack. Thats cool nd all but I wonder, is there a way to bind it so if you push 1 button it will be the wallhack with models and the other button just the models? If there is a way please let me know cause that would rock so hard.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am using Supremespeed's models, so if there were a way to get those two parts to work together that would be awsome.

Yeah I am the other way around, I <3 the models and rarely use the wallhack. To me it gets to confusing to tell when I can actually see them and when they are behind something. It would be a awsome recon and defensive tool.

Wait... So you mean you want to switch between just models and models+wallhack multiple times while playing?

EDIT: Well if that IS what you mean then well, it probably won't work unless oyu have a very nice Vid card (such as an ATI X800 series), 3.0+ Proc and 1gig+ RAM. Unless your computer meets those requirements, your game will most likely timeout/crash due to the constant reloading of materials.

i reinstalled everything in steam cause it was giving me error after error and now using mchanger i get run time error 429 active x cant create object what the hell is that i cant find anyway to fix it and its not like anything has chanegd i re downloaded and everything

Em... Do you have ActiveX installed? If not.. google it. If you do have it, make sure you have the latest version. If you have the latest version, make sure your firewall doesn't block ActiveX.

sorry if i dissed you it was none of the above problems i have a 6 grand computer and yea i have just put an an fx 57 and 2 more gigs or ram i got some errors and i had to rebuild my registyry from the windows disk it lost active x files from there otherwise awsome juggalojohn

You got ripped off son. And why did you "rebuild your registries"? If it lost ActiveX files, it backs them up for you... Just reboot and re-install what you messed with from the backups.
