help me pls

i recently (around the beginning of the year) purchased quake3. whenever i try to run a hack (such as shinakuma or nopbot) none of them work. with shinakuma whenever i try to start a game with it, it crashes (this is in single player), and with nopbot whenever i start it, it shows a weird opengl error (something about it not finding opengl)..... am i missing a patch or something? (i havent installed any ad-ons)

nevermind i solved it. just had to upgrade my quake 3 version. thanks for the idea
