Alt+Tab Crashing Source

when i alt + tab out of source it closes itself, anyone know why? later ill copy the reason why. i can play the game just fine with low ping and high fps, wtf?

try updating ur vid. drivers... and set your video settings under options to something like...

anti-aliasing off
filtering biliniar
model quality med/low
texture quality med/low.
hdr lighting off

in steam/source or like my computer settings?

in HL2, change everything to low

if still cant, try running DOD:S in windowed, try alt=tab

post ur graphics card, maybe ur directx is not 9.0c or ur DoD:S's setting isnt mat_dxlevel 9

i dont have hl2, just dod source, cant i change things 2 low on that too?

yes, jeez man. and do this:

Start -> run type dxdiag then when the window comes up, make sure in the "system" tab that your DirectX Version is 9.0c. then go to the "display" tab and post everything that is circled in this pic:
