How the **** is it possible a lot of people have names like

Doomgaze is out.. it has a 1.09 patch, using map hack/ spoofer..

The reason that they can have those names is because awhile ago, blizzard allowed you to make them. Now however, Blizzard is not allowing you to create those names. I have heard some rumors though that say they might start letting us create those names again.

Spoofers only change your name like that when your in a game. Not in actual chat mode.

You name on brood war is illegal. You aren't allowed to have [ . - ( ) ] or any other characters in the front.

No, before you were allowed to. If you made an acount that has the characters before they banned them, you will keep the characters. Also, you are stil lallowed to use periods in ur names. I made the names AdolfW.Bush today, and GeorgeW.******.

Yea.. Blizzard gives u 1 month to use ur name or it will be deleted.. maintains server
