mohaa res. question

i try to run my mohaa on full resolution, i have a great card, mobo, and 'puter, but it open gl errors when i crank it up to full and apply.

any suggestions? i can only get it up to the 2nd highest.:confused:

and whats with the rrash of anti chaters?

okay, this is what i know about this. your card can only handle a max resoluton. if you set it higher than that, it will crash everytime. what you have to do is set it to the max it can handle.

what kinda card do you have n e ways?

Dude I know it can handle it, I got my quadro4 128 MB from nvidea, its just a matter of finding where to set it to max in the video card settings.

control panel... hardware... perhaps? :)

i dont know about that. i have a gforce ti4200 and i can handle the 2nd highest too. sorry i cant help anymore.

I have a geforce 3 at the mo'. I play in 2048x1536 when doin 1v1 matches (in vietcong, but I can play up that high in mohaa).

either you need new drivers, or windows is conflicting with refresh rates and/or a few other details are badly set.. if you got a quadro 4, is that your work computer? if not, you wasted a lot of money when a geforce 4 does more than enough for moh:aa, and is even great for doom 3.

MY windows settings are 1024xXXXX, and I'm trying to run it at 20XXxXXXX lol, so that probably is the problem, but it won't let me upgrade all the way to 2000+.

and yes I'm at work right now and all of our computers are quadro 4's, how did you know that.

quadro 4 cards are commercial cards, and have line-drawing accelerations pre-inscribed into the drivers. (heh.. the cards are just overclocked geforce 4s, with a much higher price tag and better cooling)

and you're gonna get banned again, so .. er.. yeah..

and if your monitor is something less than 18 inches or your windows is not 2000 with the latest service pack or windows xp, then trying to run at 2048x requires you screwing with your monitor drivers.

windows 2k/xp won't allow going over 1940x1440 (I think) if the monitor is under 18", for the most part.. and 9x/me just kinda sucks arse.

Note though, you *can* go over 2048x with hacked drivers in 9x/me and 2k/xp even if you have a shitty monitor; but that also means your monitor might overheat, or will de-synch when at that resolution.

If you have a monitor upwards of 18"s, and 2k/xp, and the latest nvidia drivers, and it still doesn't work.. well, I dunno how - depends on your monitor - but you need to modify the drivers (normally the install ini for it) and allow those modes.
