picking up MG42 [Archive]

Someone told me that MG42 can be picked up and used like other weapons..
Is it really possible?

maybe....if its that portable machine gun with the tripod thing then yea. I dunno the names of the guns. i am a crowssbow/bow/ martial arts person. alt fire i think and use work that gun. i dunno i use it rarely...IF thats even the correct gun. I'm not a gun freak so ...clueless. I dont think you can cheat well with that gun either

nope nope, i think he trying to point out that shrapnel is spelled wrong in "shranel magnet" and BTW shrapnel isnt whats inside a grenade, its shards of flying metal etc caused by a large explosion

To get back on topic here:

I believe you would use your 'use' key (probably E) to pick up the MG42s and press your right mouse button to set it up on the tripods.

It would be a wicked hack to be able to carry and use the MG42 while on the run just like the machine gun/................

A good name for that hack would be RamboMG42... : )

Yeah, that would be pretty sweet to do with the MG42, but is it possible? What am I saying, anything is possible!
