People always come up with questions such as "what software does this?" or "what software does that?". This thread is made available to help out with everyone's aching software questions. There are just a few rules that apply to this thread to make everything manageable.
1. Post only software that is FREE or can try out for FREE.
2. Post the software name, URL, and description.
3. Do not post direct links to software. Post links to their homepage.
4. Do not post/ask about pirated software, cracks, key generators or anything that is prohibited.
5. Forum rules apply. If in doubt ... don't.
6. Check through the thread and make sure there are no double posts.
7. No off-topic (OT) posts. They will be deleted. If you want to discuss a piece of software, start a new thread or talk about it in an existing thread.
8. Follow the format when posting software.
9. Do use text from the site as the description. Give us your own impressions.

One thing that I would recommend for useful freeware is Unlocker. Helps you to delete an UNdeletable file.
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
It has saved me from attacking and destroying my computer many times now. All you have to do is right click on the undeletable file and select Unlocker. It provides you with many options to delete the file. It works perfectly.

Driver Magician
offers a professional solution for device drivers backup, restoration and update in Windows operating system. It identifies all the hardware in the system, extracts their associated drivers from the hard disk and backs them up to a location of your choice. Then when you format and reinstall/upgrade your operating system, you can restore all the "saved" drivers just as if you had the original driver diskettes in your hands. After one system reboot, your PC will be loaded and running with the required hardware drivers.
What's more, Driver Magician has a built in database of the latest drivers with the ability to go to the Internet to receive the driver updates. It saves lots of time to find the correct drivers and mature drivers will obviously increase the performance of hardware. Uhackme 3.1
The intruder installs a rootkit on a computer using a user action or by exploiting a known vulnerability or cracking a password. The rootkit installs a backdoor giving the hacker a full control of the computer. It hides their files, registry keys, and process names, and network connections from your eyes.Your antivirus could not detect such programs because they use compression and encryption of its files. The sample software is Hacker Defender rootkit.UnHackMe allows you to detect and remove Rootkits.

For anyone that has image formats that use big programs to view, such as .psd's (photoshop) that cannot be viewed in Windows Explorer or the default Image Viewer you can use XnView. I use it all the time to view psd, tga etc. It will display just about any image file :)
