Server Crashing

There is some sort of exploit going around that restarts people servers(CoD2), has this happened to anyones server or a server they were in or does anyone know how to do this exploit?

This post should be locked and deleted... no one needs to go around crashing servers..I found out how and in no way am i saying..ppl who host servers are what runs the game we dont need to crash them..ppl pay money to host themO.O

Correct , but server crashing is never discussed on these forums and MPC condone it :)

I've created my own server rebooting hack that isn't based on console commands or cvars. It disconnects / lags all the players in the game including yourself but the server just reboots almost instantly. My point is that a patch will probably be released to fix the obvious crashing exploit, but there are other methods that cannot be patched. This same exploit works in CoD and UO as well (and there have been a considerable amount of patches for both games).

Server crashing programs and discussion on how to do such things are not allowed on on MPC because it's not the type of hacking that we do here.
