The only mod i'm using is the merciless mod but I have seen some screenshots of the desert mods and they look pretty cool.

yea i play it, had to do 2 diff installs of BF1942 tho, i for just Mods and the other just normal multiplayer.

but i gotta say, very very impressing Mod

and good thing is Alpha 0.2 should be here anyday now

Desert Combat is truely a fantastic mod, even at it's current time being very early in development. I really enjoy it and I'm looking foward for 0.2 and a few other mods like CiS and Black Hawk Down.

DC is pretty awesome. The .2 release out on the 15th looks great. CiS alpha was very earily in the dev. I wish that BHD would do an alpha release.

The one I am really waiting for is the vietnam mod EOD or something cant remember. I tried the Vietcong game demo and I must say it really sucked.

BF has the best engine I see out right at the moment. This is mainly because HL and Quake III engines are so old. For their day they were awesome.

Hopefully a new game will be out soom that will make bf42 engine look like sh*t. And hopefully they will be more mod friendly like ID or HL.

i don't know why people don't play Desert Combat cuz there are only 3-4 servers, if u ask me, i think it's twice as better then the original, More Fun, Planes Are 10 Times Faster, Better And Sweeter Lookin Weapons + Veichles. and A Helicopter, what else u want lol. Even tho it's still in Alpha condition, i think it's one of the best Mods i've played yet :)

yea dude, i lagg like hell when i get on the helicopter lol, ping goes from 60 to 450 lol, hope they fix it on v2 :)
