cvar hacks

hello i have a little question about that cvar hacks

/r_lighttweakambient 4 and that ambientcolor 4
works perfect on public servers , very good !!!

but is it normal or possible that those 2 hacks dont work in Private servers , servers with a password ???

Some mods block out those cvars. Whether or not a server has a password or is private should not make a difference.
