ah , doesnt work here :ermm:
when I drop the file in the cod folder where codmp is and i launch the game I get an error like this : cant start (..) because d3dx9_27.dll cant be found :ermm:

when I delete the file cod2 just starts normal.( Ive also reinstalled directx but that doesnt help)

after updating with
"D3DXDLLAugust27" i can run CoD only in SafeMode.
change Options crashed the Game & shows a DirectX Error.

but if i make a demo then if i watch it again then if i kill anyone then its many blood on the ground, when i played that wasn't, and the B or A of the bombs got aout of the compass when i watch the demo again! :(

nah it doesnt work. i remapped my F8 to numpad 1, dropped the dll in the cod folder and started up. game looked normal and i hit F8 and nothing happened :(.

we need laptop activation keys!

Ok, i managed to get it to work-has to be in DX7 mode for me-dx9 won't work

In theory these things should work in DX9 mode. Unless it was created on an older comp or bad coding. The whole thing of "uninstalling" vital service packs and making comps spam zombies is not a great idea. It's nice to have stuff released for the poor saps that have to download it.

When I take it out, it works fine...
I'm using SP2 & 1024x768 resolution.

Okay guyz.. heres my guide to set this HACK working on YOUR computer.

First download the hack from the attachment given.

If you don't download it, then just click the first post.

2nd thing you do, is to get the dll file to work.

Use this link (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_27) to get it.. (Link got from mastahpl)

Okay you got that? Nice.. now visit www.rarlab.com to get your very own free 40day trial to unzip the dll file.

From here you get that dll file opened by rar and you extract the file to this folder
C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM not SYSTEM32 or anything else jsut plant it in SYSTEM folder.

Now... the hack dll file. Open the hack using rar or some other shit extractor that opens rar and get your nicely made hack from wurzil ;) and plant it in C:/Programs Files/Activion/CoD2/>>>HERE<<< not your main but the folder BEFORE your MAIN!

If you have a shortcut on your desktop dont use that, that somes comes up with the error again, but use the one if your folder CoD2MP.exe if you used that then you should see that cod2 banner load up. if so hurray!! you done it, pick a game press numpad 1 to enable hack.

Put the d3d9.dll in your CoD folder. Afterwards, go into video options and make sure DirectX7 is enabled. If you do not know how to do that, consult your game manual.

I've described the whole process of changing the rendering mode from DirectX9 to DirectX7 before...

From the Main Menu:

Options -> Sytem: Graphics -> Click Rendering Method Preference to "DirectX7" -> Click Apply -> Play the game

If you cannot follow those instructions, do not bother posting again.

oh wait, to get to the dx settings you must change the option there, it will say something like 'automatic' click on it and it will come up with lots of other settings, something saying 'direct x' should be in there.

However i still cannot get this hack to work, i start cod2mp_s.exe and connect to a server but it gets to about 1/6 away from loading the map before it crashes to desktop, i tried doing what you all said but still no luck.

1.) Navigate to your CoD 2 directory.

2.) Look in Main\Players\(Player Name)\

3.) Open config_mp.cfg with Notepad.

4.) In Notepad, search for "seta r_mode". Once found, look to the right and change your resultion from "640x480" to 800x600".

5.) Search for "r_rendererPreference". Make sure it's set as "dx7".

6.) Save the file and launch the game.

Jsut don't do that.. once if crashes and you get the error, remove the wallhack from your folder, and put it back in again.. it should work. (hopfully ¬_¬)

PB usually bans people after multiple violations. Other hacks are silently detected.

Useful posts are what is expected. People come here, create a new account and start asking questions before spending the ten minutes researching for answers.

Incorrect information! The standard game screenshot function has nothing to do with detection or PB screenshots. pb_getss takes a PB screenshot and puts in the pb\scrnshot folder.
