delayed bans?

i recently tried to connect to a pb server and got a global guid ban message, don't automaticly think im bitching about being guid banned because im not. ok my question is: does punk buster delay thier bans ( like vac2) ? the last hack i used was H.U.D and that was quite some time ago, i stopped using it before it was detected. i think ill try appeal :P if not ill buy a new cd key.

any input will be much apreciated.
