aight, i been messin' with MOHAA SH and Permutation, and have been unsuccesful at getting any of it to work as most others have. well, last nite i opened autoexec.cfg, and moved the command line "exec unbind.cfg" to where it should be:

exec custom.cfg
exec unbind.cfg
then i made a copy of autoexec, and renamed the copy to custom.cfg. then i copied unbind.cfg, autoexec.cfg, and custom.cfg to the Mohaa folder, the Main dir, the Mainta directory, and finally, copied them all to both the Main directories' Config folders and Mainta Config folder. well, i started SpearHead, and the launch console came up, it paused a second, and then started loading. i saw all the F key bindings come up with the cheat names beside of them "Press F4 for Blue Sky" and all the others. well, it obviously unbinded my F keys, cuz i hit F1 and it didnt give me the "No Vote In Progress" message, and F3 didnt pull up the Controls. but still, no luck on getting the cheats to work. i wonder if i should have copied the unbind.cfg and renamed the copy to custom.cfg or what. i've never really tryed to bungle the game on my own, and i've watched the MPC forum for a about a year without registering, for fear of being blasted to bits verbally, just for asking a question. i do however remember the site being in German, and i dont remember there being a forum at that time, just a mailing list i was on. but anyways, i just wanted to help get the show on the road so to say for Permutation and SpearHead. i dont know how much this helped, but i doubt it did. umm, i tryed to register over at the SilverXHacks forum a few minutes ago, which is up again by the way. it wouldnt pull up the Reg Code at the bottom of the registration form, i pulled the source code for the page, and no luck. and as i said b4, i really hope this helps, for this being my first post i hope it isnt annoying as these dumbass "why does it say "No Vote In Progress" when i hit F1" questions. oh yeah, should i have edited my F key bindings to something, did i name the wrong *.cfg file "Custom" or what? and another thing, i've looked in all the *.cfg files, and havent found where it binds the F keys to any commands for the cheats or anything except for Fast_Sky. are the cheat bindings supposed to be in any of the config files?
