ok, heres my story:

i was downloading the new bf1942 patch...and it asked me if i wanted to download punkbuster. im an *****...so i pushed no. now i NEED punkbuster to play ALL bf1942 online games...so can someone send me a link to download it plz?

you can't just get a link to download it, its something that is included in the game installation.

punkbuster is in the 1.6 patch. re-install the game and when u install the 1.6 patch there is a tick box asking u to install PB. don't be a click-monkey when u install the patches - read the screens!

Winslow - PB didn't actually come with BF1942 like it did with BFV, as i mentioned b4 it came with the one of the subsequent and numerous patches later for BF1942.

So he has to download the latest patch of BF1942 (1.61) (http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/1942/us/gamedemo.jsp?state=010010) to get Punkbuster.

@ winslow np mate, it does get confusing since all the other BF games come with PB now. i did look into this some more because i wasn't 100% which patch it came with and PB for Bf1942 was released with the 1.5 patch - the one that came with caen and philipines maps - u had to tick a box to install PB when installing the patch.
i can't comment whether they actually supply PB with all the other 'special' edition (boxsets) releases of the Battlefield series.
