If you want to change your own PC's MAC, SMAC 1.1 (free) (http://www.mpcdownloads.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2923) is one of the ways :)

And if we go even more on that subject, you can also find this thread about Changing the MAC-Adress without any tools (http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=114461) :)
But again, this thread is about changing the router's MAC.

Yes true ... but with this thread being here i think that its giving out a false positive. When your HW banned from punkbuster you dont get router MAC banned you only get banned on any MAC address thats physically in your computer. If people go around changing there MAC on there router, not only could they cause problems . . . they may not even be able to access the internet depending on there type of service and there provider. Just fair warning.

Theroretically yes ... but i personally feel that PB has no way of reading that information. And there are no reports of that being an issue. When i was HW banned i never got banned on my HD's only all my networking products (Since i was behind a RAID). That did not include my router that i still use to this day.

But there again, you agree that every case is different :)
And it's a fact that they do ban HDs.
So, maybe that information is needed, just in case :)

Understood gil ... but like the above statement says ... just fair warning. If you start messing with your Router's MAC you could end up in a heap of trouble. I would stress use only as a last resort.
