Nope VAC2 doesnt detect coloured models. And never will. Its 100% safe.
Just dont use model changers.Im not sure if VAC can ban you for that.

Vac2 has no way of knowing unless someone is sitting and taking screen shots of everyones screen which i doubt that will ever happen, lol. Also it doesnt detect a size difference if it did, then custom textured models wouldnt be allowed for you'd get a consistancy error possibly.

Emm.. if you take a SS of some one's screen, and they have colored models and you don't, it will look normal to you. Dur...

LOL I know that, don't need to talk me down. What I meant is if vac was able to take a screen shot of my desktop somehow and have the admin look at it. Not sure if that will ever be possible, but some leagues take screen shots with a special config that they use. IDK, shut up.

Hey WallyHobo,
I tried installign your skins the Green and Blue ones... but I cant get them to work, am I correct that they will work with Day of Defeat Source?
If not yours what other options for using custome colors in day of defeat source?
Thanks

Take a look at the directories in the image. This is where both folders should be included, the players directory.

I got the skins to work, yesterday morning before the new update it worked fine, It even had the wall hack
but after the update now its just the different colors.. which is good.. but I am also experiencing problems where it will not allow me to connect to every sever.. very odd..

For those having problems i really have no idea whats going on. I downloaded this tool called VTF explorer. I used skins in which people already made and that i had in my players folder.
There is also a VTF plugin for photoshop. Just bring in the vtf formated texture and color the hell out of it. Make sure the backgrond stays black.
I've been having probs connecting to servers as well. Sometimes its because i dont have the 50mb map or because the server has a reserved admin spot which will kick you back out.

I think I read someone mentioning colored models for grenades, rifle grenades, bazooka grenades, sniper rifle, and machine guns. Could someone please link the thread for me?
I can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

Alright boys and girls here are some new models. First of all i cleaned up the player skins. There faces didnt match the rest of the body color, so i changed that. Plus i added the colored grenade and smoke grenade textures. All explosive grenades are marked in yellow and the smok grenades are marked in turquoise.
Place both folders in your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\**urname**\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models
DOWNLOAD THEM HERE (http://www.lightwater.egnog.net/models.rar)
I also tried making the smoke grenade smoke and bullet RICKASHE smoke transparent. I was unsucessfull in my attempts. I found the way to make them transparent, but the default checked box always took the place of the smoke. Then i tried making all the checker boxes that i could find transparent, no luck. I was pretty close, but untill i figure out a way to get rid of those defualt checkered boxes, idk.

Nope these aren't wallhacks.
malakas007
You have to create a map yourself if you dont have one:
c:\programfiles\valve\steam\steamApps\*your username*\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models\player\american german

Try using the ones contained in the following package:
[JAPS]Day of Defeat:Source Wallhack [VAC2 Proof + Colored Models] (http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=152377)
If you only want the colored players then use the "player" folder only.

Does anyone know how to overwrite skins that a particular server forces you to download?
The skins above work on the default skins, but the server specific ones remain what the server wants.
Thanks
