i have to admit, it looks alot nicer then i expected. I saw some screenshots of the PS2 version and it looked like a piece of sh*t. But this one has really nice graphics :)

Yeah it does seem a little sucky to me, there are numerous things i cannot stand in it. e.g. the difference between running and walking speed, the rets, the lack of a dedicated server, not to mention linux support. Its all on the UBI forums, go check it out if u wanna join the rant and rave.

Lets certainly hope they can redeem themselves by LISTENING to the gamers, and making the full version a nicer release. I mean the RVS demo was kinda sucky, but who knows...

Yeah there are a lot of issues yet to be resolved and added. I mean these are just a few of the problems in my opinion that have been encountered. And there are plenty more im sure...


1.No Spectator mode
2.No Display of client pings
3.No Dedicated Server
4.No Support for linux
5.No Walking and peaking
6.Cant unbind keys
7.No SDK due to be released
8.Walk speed to slow, running speed to fast
9.No ret blooms or slowdown in speed when shot
10.Door physics horrible (cant close doors behind you properly)
11.Sound Bugs
12.Can't Run scoped in
13.Auto reload = No click click click
14.Cant manually lay explosives, they are on a timer

well actually, this game is a rather nice relief from the huff and puff of RVS... i mean it actually pulled me back to the forums.... first this game is pretty good, i know its not great but its a demo stfu.... why do you need a SDK for a demo? and thank god its not unreal engine because it makes the hacks all the more better when they come out, now you have to make a actually good hack for it to work worth a damn, if you like ghost recon you'll love this game, but yeah there are bugs and stuff that dissapoint but its a demo... i mean the RVS demo itself got patched a while back, maybe this one will too... and any nay-sayers can kiss me @$$

I think it has potential, its grown on me a little since i played it. Coop is quite fun, if they just tweak this, i think they have got a chance of bringing back a part of the market.

I feel so let down... I've been looking forward to Lockdown since it was first announced, and after playing the demo I feel like I've been kicked where it hurts. There are so many things wrong with it I don't even know where to begin. Ubi has effectively stripped the Rainbow Six series of everything that once made it stand out from the rest of the FPS crowd. I feel ashamed for Ubi, Red Storm, Tom Clancy, and anyone else affiliated with this poor, poor game.
