All you need is:
1. A legit Steam program
2. An account
3. Download for free!, Half-Life 2 is not required(dunno why since the thing said so)so thats all you need

right click on dod:source in your steam games list, select view pre-load info

The game will be activated to play on Friday, Feb 10th @ 12:00pm PST (3:00pm EST).

Awe! Too bad, I saw this in Steam news when I loaded up Steam right after registering my newly bought DoDS... Probably would have been better if I tried it first, but its great, I love it. Although I prefer CoD2...

I think this is good for those who havent bought HL2 Package / Dod:s. Good thing i bought silve package :)
