to put videos onto an ipod they have to be .mp4 or .h264
go to http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
and download the videora ipod converter
the software is easy to use, simply select the video file and it will convert it one of many ipod compatible formats, then you simply import the converted video to your ipod library, change the info as you wish and update your ipod
tada

Heres 3 programs that I looked at -
Links:
Songbird (http://www.songbirdnest.com/download) - The other one I was thinking of, but it is quite similar to iTunes. I like it more though.
Anapod Explorer (http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/) - You can use drag and drop, through windows explorer, internet explorer or an SQL database. Probably the best one.
X Play (http://www.mediafour.com/products/xplay/) - You should also look at X Play - It costs money but there is a free trial which Ive tried and I like it. Not sure if its worth the buy though.

For the ipod video, i dont think there are currently any (free) games out. iPod linux is currently developing and will hopefully soon support the 5th Gen ipod.
There are some games here that u can buy, 3 games, $9.95. Worth a look if u want 2 pay :-/ But again, i wouldnt want 2:

Theres a program called Videora iPod Converter 0.91
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
:rambo: This is a freeware program (free) and so far one of the best and fasest ways to convert just about any file (avi,mp3,mpeg,mpgg,etc...) into an mpeg4 file that can be used on your video ipod
why use this program well number 1 itunes ****ing blows at converting shit so does quicktime it just to ****ing slow with this u take the media file converts it into an mpeg 4 and you than drag the file into the library of your Ipod in i tunes and bam video on your ipod
kool this with this prog is it lets u set priority i took a music video of about 91mb and converted it to mpeg4 with high priority in less than 2 mins and the file size was smaller 2 i hope you use and try this program as i have experemented with a bunch of diffferent software and i find this to be the fastest and most useful method try out the prog tell me what cha think:rambo:
