i got 2 versions of linux due to the advice of some friendly people on this forum 1 was suse 10.0 the other was Unbuntu im gonna try the live versions first to see how they are and which one is more to my liking then ill post my thoughts on here. now to the questions
1.)when i do pick a linux os can it be installed on my Ntfs formatted hard drive or does it have to be reformatted to fat 32.
2.i was searching the net last night and found that to play games on linux you need wine x to play games from windows os to linux here is the link i found http://www.transgaming.com it supports some of the games i play but not all so the question is is there somthing out there better than wine x that all the linux gamers use. one of my favorite games is c&c generals according to trans gaming i can play the game campain but not online so theres no point cuz c&c generals is more or less an online game also i play farcry fps and it says i cant host a game with transgaming software :bandit: so does anybody have any ideas..
