To tell you the truth, I didn't think you guys could even benifit from such an idea if you can't even view the internet! scrue isnt the only one who helps out here. as for the whole Linux vs Windows thing, i think you should use the one you want to use. I prefer Linux, but thats just me. I don't game or anything.

Linux was designed base up for networking. Linux is generally more secure, and can run on low end hardware. However, most games are designed on the Windows API. Therefore, at this stage, Windows has an inherent advantage over Linux, no matter what. Emulation software like WineX never run as fast as Windows. For gaming, you should use Windows, no doubt.
