I have since today problems with MPC-radio, every minut the radio is re-buffering Mediaplayer. This is really anoying when i listen music.
This only happend today, so i wonder how come. Is it because the Dj his upload is set too high?
I have 170 KB/s download so that shouldn't be a problem :S
Eerm, i think i needed to post this in this section, right? :x

its because of the upload rate you guys have ... put the music birate on 40kb . because if you set it higher like 90kb means. you send +- 90kb to a person ... give it to 20 ppl well then its multiplying lol. anyway it has to upload first to the server and then the server sends . also the buff can be caused trough bad routing by the server. like i would connect to a 20mbit line in china where i only could download on a speed of 30kb/sec instead of 2.8mb/sec. in my own country on a 20mbit line.
correct me if im wrong

you are actually wrong :x
the dj only needs to push one stream up to the server so 96kbps would mean the dj has to upload to the server at a constant speed of about 13kytes/s (it's 12kbytes/s plus overhead which is usually around 1kbyte/s so 13kbytes/s total)
now since most ISPs post stats in kbits/s that means the dj has to theoretically have 104kbits/s upload to be able to stream at 96kbps, now because of other overhead that's not tru and at least 256kbits/s upload is recomended.
this server here is on a 10000mbit backbone (yes 10,000 not 1,000 I didn't typo) so the server itself is not a problem especially since Ping_pong said himself that he had no problems beforehand. the problem was probably just in the streaming software that one time or something, shit happens.

I can perfectly handle the stream and browsing [not intensive tho] on my 128kbps up speed
use winamp ... WMP is the biggest piece of sh*t ive ever seen
it fixed alot of my problems =|
