ok WoW Glider Question

Ok, I havent used WoW glider yet (its a bot) and it costs $25

heres the thing, i saw on some other forum.. (i think blizzhackers new forum) that wowglider logs everyone that uses it... i was wondering if anyone here can like.. reverse engineer the program.. just to see the part that logs the person using it, and see if you could find a way to block that? i mean, it logs server, character name, well actually http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5179/glider2ti.jpg

Those logs are for people that are using a cracked version of the program. Legit key holders are not logged.

I use legit glider, its a decent bot. not a nice in features as like wowsharp, but it definitely gets the job done and is worth the $25 imo

ok so, what? he just decides not to use the logging feature of the legit people? i mean, he didnt put that EXTRA in the cracked one, because its the same program.... so the logging code is still in the program...

and if i was gonna pay for a program, i would want to remove that peice of code from the program...


so because he says he doesnt log the legit users, you automatically believe him, ya know if i had a deal like that going.. i wouldnt tell anyone i was logging the legit users either... i just would...

No benefit what so ever could come from him logging legit users. He's already making a ton of money, why would he risk that doing something stupid with his legit users? just doesn't make sense. he doesn't want people stealing his software, its just that simple. I don't object to him taking whatever messures he wants against those that do steal his software.


Don't use the cracked glider, and you have nothing to worry about.

Otherwise, just don't use glider at all, and get banned using some other bot.

*sigh* get all defenseive why dont ya, i dont and have not used the cracked one... but i just dont feel comfortable buying and using soemthing that is known to log people that use it... and nothing you can say (short of telling me how to remove it) is going to make me comfortable enough to use the program..

I did not get defensive... im stating my opinion. If you don't want it to log you, just don't use it. its that simple.

It logs you, it logs every user.
I think it isn't something like "If program = crack do log else nothing"
In order to see the logs of the cracked ones(Which he didn't create.) he needs to log all the programs(He can't put a log system in a crack he didn't create.).
But ofcourse he wouldn't say that because then people know there is no difference between paid and cracked.
The only difference about the crack and the paid is that he posts the cracked logs and not the paid ones.


Don't use the cracked glider, and you have nothing to worry about.
If you're not around and 3 GM's message you with: "Do you have a moment ?" and you don't respond they'll put you on suspension.

see, if i was gonna use it, would never use it while away from home, and would make it so my WoW makes a loud noise when i get a whisper.. =)

Reverse engineering and cracking is illegal... MPC does not support it.
