MapleStory will be going through a patch on Wednesday, April 5th.

The patch will last for approximately 2 hours, and users will not be able to access the game during that time.

All users are advised to safely log off by then.

Wow i bet you its because there are so many noob vaccers / hackers out there their doing a emergency patch... OVer this week i saw 2 jump hackers... 6 VAC HAXKERS which 5 of them cced and one vac noob who just kept on vaccing even though i was standing right there... shows how much ppl know..

Almost all of the subway stirge channels have vaccers on them in Khaini. Ever since bypass was released, everyone seems to have something.

Yep. VACS ARE BEING PATCHED. Both kMS and jMS have already patched register changing/wallvac. Good game to MPC and leakers.

I heard about the 'nx cash hack.' One of my friends at least said he had it. I don't know if he was lying or not though.

Patching the bypass is possible. They would just have to make the MApleStory client check to see if it is connected to the correct GameGuard server. Or have the client check the version of GameGuard. I don't know if the client is physically capable of talking to the GG client, as GG is able to talk to MapleStory (well it just sends kill signals really). But you never know.

Because none of them will work. 4 of my guildmembers just got banned within a 30min span. Nobody was on the map to report them EVER. The GMs are cracking down to try and catch all the hackers before they patch everything.

I was ready to quit these forums when Diddle posted about the private hacks. Godmode in general, and vacs that disturb the monster spawns shouldn't even be public. But, if the mods don't do shit, you really can't do anything about it either. M-secrets has such a slow post rate, it's more 'entertaining' to stay here and post.

Guys this has NOTHING to to with Patching the bypass.

They are releasing RANKINGS.

People will now be able to see your rankings on the site and right click you and see your rank. This means lvling too fast = ban.

Now people will be stalking you and reporting you when they see u on the ranking list.

I am 90% sure this is what will be released.

And of course the addresses will change......they always do when a patch is released....


GM's are ALWAYS on a banning spree before and after a patch. I suggest nobody Vac for at least a week, maybe even more.

I think MPC should just go back to the old public/private hacks. I'm not sure what the reasoning was for making full godmode and such un-private, but if the flow of such useful hacks is stemmed, so will a lot of wannabe hackers, or at least all the dumbass ones, because they won't be able to just level 24/7 without certain private hacks.

My wording is horrible but it sounds good in my head. Basically, the more the absolute noobs get ahold of the hacks ("PLOX EMALE ME HAX CUZ I NED THEM") - what I mean when I say absolute), the more likely Wizet is to tighten the security on hackers, making the situation worse for the rest of us. The wannabes are the ones that will use the hacks in the worst situations; the kind of people who will get banned before they leave maple island. And don't forget the people who flaunt the hacks on dud accounts. I know even respectable people might do this, but it's only making the situation worse.

Long story short, take the hacks out of the hands of wannabe hackers so everyone else can enjoy the game without worrying about getting caught every damn minute of the day.

This patch is probably due to the influx of new hackers showing off.

If there was a guide to figuring out the new values whenever theres a new patch then we would still have a ton of noob cheaters. Hackers are supposed to have an idea of how the hell things work in the game so that one day they can come up with their own codes and make their hard work private. To reduce the number of noob hackers so that the Gm's don't hire more Gm's to ban us, we have to resist posting the new values for the next patch.

EDIT: Yes, I do consider myself to be a hacker and not much of a leecher because
A) I keep things private
B) I come up with my own codes (I have figured out some neat codes via Cheat Engine which I may release in the future)
C) I have an understanding of how things work; Guides are not always necessary.

Basically if you need a guide to tell you how to "Tick ZF" in Cheat Engine's memory view, then you shouldn't be interested in hacking anything, ever.

Although I, myself, am a leecher(sux, I know, but I dunno how to do things; trying to learn, though >_>). I can always go back to playing legitly. The main reason I started being a script kiddie was... Well, the availablity of these hacks. These can be found on a regular google search.

I think that if addresses are not leaked, meaning people will have to find their own things, then I think that many newb hackers will get discouraged and not even try. I know that would have stopped me.


I have a certain respect for the true hackers.
Although I am a script kiddie myself, I look down(not really look down, but yeah.. can't think of more words o_O) on script kiddies.
I would rather have to stop hacking so the real hackers can go further in their endeavors than continue hacking and ruin it for everyone.

I'm not so sure it'll stop leaking though... some people leak hacks just for the heck of it
