According to a New Your Times article scientists have been able to finally demonstrate the step by step progression of evolution.
The researchers say that the findings, published un the journal Science, offer more evidence and arguments against the ‘intelligent design’ theory by showing how a progression of small changes could produce the intricate mechanisms found in living cells.

That's very interesting. I wonder if we will ever find out how exactly we became how we are today.

Also, new new news, They've found out that the farthest back ancestor of humans isnt "millions of years back" and guess what the two ancestors were? humans, not monkeys :D
The scientists have demonstrated it, thats intellegent right? it didn't suddenly happen. The genius scientists had to work to get it to happen. This doesn't prove much more than people are the only species to ever watch evolution (of some sort)

I am a christian. But say if Evolution was true then what caused the big bang? The big bang was caused by a high concentration of various gasses. The star that was formed as a result of the big ban sucked up most of the material and gasses, what was left was used by the planets.
As for how the universe itself got started well..... we don't even know how old the universe if so can't theorize about how it started untill we know when it started, at least approximately.
