Server Optimization

Some slight server modification and optimization has been done today, if anyone notices any problems that they haven't before please report them to me.

This should hopefully speed up the load time a bit (keeping fingers crossed so that it's not the opposite :x).

well the portal was changed a while back (about 3 days or so I think) and we came to the agreement that noone really looks that far down anyways so recent posts were a bit useless..... though if enough people actually want them I guess I can add recent posts back :x

Cool. Yea it has sped up a bit. If you load of cache's it loads even faster, and saves bandwidth :)

yeah its sped up for me, threads come up pretty much instantly (1 sec or so) before i would have to wait 2-3 secs

keep up the work and i like the way this news section is being used :P

i never use the portal, but i just went on it to see i noticed it has 2 log in boxes :tired: Is that new? One at the top and 1 at the side..

I loaded this page in 1.719s before i was loading in about 2...

yeah theres a new news box with all the latest news threads and another 1 with latest threads in

quite good in my opinion
