Alright guys sorry bout my last post, well I read the FAQ and i was up to this part:
d) An address should now be highlighted on the top of the list. Right click that and select 'Change registers at this location.'

I tryed right clicking 005ee77a (jump hack) and i got this:
Something came up and said Change Offset for 005EE77A. The FAQ said to "tick" the ZF Box once, only on my screen, there was a drop-down menu (1 Byte, 2 Bytes, 4 Bytes, 8 Bytes, Float, Double, Text) Im stuck here and would like to know how to get to this ZF Box. Thanks, and majorly sorry about my last topic, a but n00bish. ;_;

Im pretty sure I told you this in my last post in your old topic...

Oh wait... are you sure your right clicking it?

Sigh. I'm being nice because at least you read up on the topic.

Go to 'memory view'. It allows you to see the layout of MS's memory, in handy disassembled form. Then go to the address provided (Press control+G, type in the address)
Right click> change register.
Tick ZF.
Make me some cookies.

Now you can fly.

Make sure you are in the Memory View section of CE. Then you can right click, and choose "Go to this address." Type in whatever cheat you want to go to (005ee77a for Fly Hack) and right click on that, and you should be able to "Change Register at this location."

The only thing I can see you might be doing wrong is that you aren't actually in the memory viewer.

EDIT: TiMBuS beat me to it :P

^A lot of people do, but the thread get's flooded really easily so alot of posts just get lost and unanswered. As long as it isn't completely begging, I don't mind helping out.

Alright thanks, I ticked ZF, i was in the bottom section of it XP
Thanks for all the help guys, just one last thing, how do i put the code into EFFECT?

TiMBuS
12th April 2006, 05:33
Yes, I always think that first going to memory view is daunting, and changing registers didn't make sense to me at first. As such I think its fair to provide help in this area. In fact I think it was sunbeam who first taught me about changing registers, of all people =D

****

Kittta, the code is (should be) now in effect. Sometimes the debugregs don't work, and this is commonly known as "CE being a pain in the ass."
Right click the now green line, press 'toggle breakpoint. It will pause for a second and then all of a sudden the green line will disappear. Retick the register. It MIGHT now work.

The fly hack? Just hold down left or right and your jump key, and it will float up...if you press your jump key over and over again, you can kinda float back and forth, hopping in the air.

Please don't show off and get yourself banned.

Yes, that and close the memory view box.

and Timbus, waste of time, look at his old topic, I BEAT YOU ALL TO IT
Muahahaha
EDIT: heres my proof =P

I hope no one gets mad at me for responding.

Since I guess right there it doesnt fully explain it.

Once you have the code, go to memory view, (You'll see it on Cheat Engine)
Press "CTRL+G" (Goto Adress)

Put in the code.

When you see it, right click it and select "change at register"
or something of that sort o.o

and then, tick ZF. Only once, you should figure it out especially once you've read this.

But your descriptions were better =/ nevermind, kudos to you o.o

Yeah, most of the memory view hacks, where all you need to do is tick zf, are pretty much executed once zf is ticked.

Eh, I blame it on my slow processor for my slow posting. :P

Ack, I just did with TiMBUS said like 4 times, still no Jump Hack at B3. XD Hmm... Was I supposed to start CE in a certain order or something?

You don't need to close the memory view box. I usually keep it up in case anything ever happens.

Jump/Fly Hack (Works for most people)
005ee77a - Tick ZF

Restart maple and CE....

Do you have the edited DBK32.sys file for CE? If not, you will only be able to change one register within memory view.

Yes, but do i have to start MS first or something? I've just tryed toggleing it and etc for like 15 minutes, still no magical-flying-powers-to-jump-b3-and-get-bc powers. XD

Hmm...Well I'm only using the Fly Hack right now. Nothing else, so theres no need to have the right?

Like I said, the registers often don't work.

Target the maplestory process, tick ZF at 005ee77a, THEN allow, deny allow prevx.. Sometimes it works better because the code is yet to be running.

I should mention, if you CAN click "toggle the breakpoint" and maple doesn't crash, the registers currently aren't working. I have a few ways to jog them back on, but because it tiring to write this stuff, just restart CE if it won't go for you.

Start MS before you jump hack? I would guess so...

If you mean start MS before CE, then no, you start CE, and attach it to Maple while nProtect is loading. Then, alt-tab out and do the whole memory view deal.

Another thing, this isn't like an actual jump hack, where your press jump once, and you fly up to the top...you have to hold down left or right, and then hold down your jump key while still holding right or left, and you will float to the top slowly.

TiMBuS
12th April 2006, 05:54
Yeah I codecave the jump strength. It's better then this zf fly crap.

Waste0fTime
12th April 2006, 06:00
Yeah, there is a really easy code-caving tutorial for jumping, either on this page or the one before it...it even has a code written that you just put in auto-assembler, and it does the work for you.

Hmm... I dont think i "attached it to maple" last time, can you give me a breif discription on how to do this?

If you were able to find the address in memory viewer, and ticked zf, you had to have CE attached to something, or you wouldn't be able to find an address in CE.

Open CE, open Maple, click the computer button in the top left of CE, click process watch, click the top MapleStory.exe within that list. Viola, CE is now attached to Maple.

Hmm.. I'm having a similar problem as this one with my godmode hack (5C0E03) and any of my other memory view hacks for that matter. Though, kittta's problem was solved by a simple miss-step, I know that I have my .exe attached properly. Somehow my godmode worked when I first tried using it (days ago) and now it doesn't seem to have any effect. I have ticked only the first ZF and still nothing. I have both of the updated .sys and .dll files in place and I have windows mode enabled. I've rebooted many, many times and I am 99% sure all of my CE settings are correct. This is completely boggling my mind... Should I be posting this in a different thread, or can you guys help me out here?

Waste0fTime
12th April 2006, 07:30
I suppose it's better to try and figure it out here instead of making a whole new thread for the same type of problem...

Try restarting your computer, for some reason this helped a couple of people...if it doesn't work post back and we can try to help you further.

I've rebooted many, many times. I just rebooted for chits and giggles. Still nothing...
