Look at bands like Throwdown, Dead To Fall, It Dies Today, On Broken Wings, The Acacia Strain, Slipknot, DevilDriver, Pantera, Sepultera, Helloween, Dimmu Borgir

Just some different types. They all are good.

anyway, some boys at my school like Trivium... some emo/goth band or wteva, don't know if their american or wteva but they are into the kind of music you like

and have you heard system of a down? if not then try their album Mezmerize, i quite like that

I like KoRn, Panic at the Disco, Jimmy Eat World, Blue October, Angels & Airwaves, Green Day, Depeche Mode, Guns 'n Roses, Quiet Riot, AC/DC, Thursday, Marilyn Mansion, some System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, some Nickelback, some Pantera, Hoobastank, Avril Lavigne, and Fall Out Boy.

Oh, and the occasional techno song here and there.

They have tons of good stuff. But if I had to choose one I would choose the Rocket to Russia album.
