rev566 not udating correctly

k well if i just set up the server with the
nProtect/GameGuard/RealServer fodler in it and the rev 566 and start maple it updates 7 files and then starts with the newset update.

If i get the gameguard files from the rar i dowloaded, it updates 4 files and says this.

GameGuard:Initialize Failed (360)

Faild to complete GameGuard update. Suspend Anti_virus program temprarly and try again, or check the setting of PC management programs if any.


I got none antivirus/nether firewall.

Looks more like it since the splash things that starts is the older picture.

My hosts file is (location: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc)
the content in it is 127.0.0.1 gameguard.mapleglobal.com
127.0.0.1 72.5.148.122

Same problem , i never tryed the gameguard.rar files though. Apache and Abyss say they are working fine though =/ and when i Delete my GameGuard folder thats when it only updaqtes with 6 files ( back to current Rev =/

Exactly the same here. Did everything the guide told me to, and I don't get the safety pop-ups from PrevX either. (I think having it Off has something to do with it)

KARATE EDIT: I think I found the solution, at least for me. I wasn't on a router when I thought I was (inspected that after Internet failure.) So, I'm setting my Apache to the stuff not on a router. I haven't tried it yet, but it's worth a shot. But still, I don't get the security pop-ups...

EDIT TWO: ...Yeah, that didn't work.

from what i notice is that the gamegaurd extention file are all different for the new ones.

Server emulation and bypass was patched in the V 0.22 patch, it doesn't work anymore.

Now Abyss and Apache and Prevx are useless, you need to make a new Cheat Engine undetectable for GayGuard, and there is already a guide to do that in the forums =).

You can search for it or just surf the forums, you'll find it there, good luck.

The method for Server Emulation does not work anymore. As said previously several amounts of time it was patched.

What I suggest is either delete the host file completely and GG will update to it's current version or go to the host file, right click it, go to properties, check off Read-only then edit the host file using notepad and delete the IP and the link. After that close it and restart MapleStory, it should update normally.

Wow, i almost have forget about this day!!,

I thought it wasnt coming, but finally, Emulation its over, yay, a lot of ppl wont be able to at least hack ms again, since the new method that is to create an undetected CE it's a bit hard (Or that was what some ppl said)
