If your banned for hacking then give up on the account; unless you wanna hack into wizet and unban your account(s) then good luck.

dude u dont need a banned account to know that once u caught hackin u get permanantly banned. jus check it out here http://www.mapleglobal.com/
from there jus go to the support section and on the left the is a menu for the "user abuse policy"
read it and u will know that ban is permanant for hacking but not permanant for other things.

He's right. Before they updated their site, last October I think was when I got banned. When you logged in it told you how long your ban was for. Mine said it'd expire October something 2015. After that span of time, I'm not sure if they delete the account or just unban it. 10 year ban is permanent for pretty much anyone with a life :p.

You're all wrong.
It's possible to get unbanned.

My friend, a level 73 warrior. Was banned for hacking.
And he was truly a hacker.
I'm not sure what happened.
But somehow he was unbanned.
He didn't know himself.
Maybe the GMs had thought they made a mistake?
Who knows.
Unbans are not impossible, listen to me.

Nobody's 'wrong' in this thread. What you said happened a few times, but RARELY. The guy wasn't currently hacking, other users report him and he gets banned, GMs evaluate, unban him. I've only heard it happening 4 or 5 times.

i've never been banned. it's strange how good i am at evading GM's and players ;P
the most they've done to me, is roll back my account.. but even then, i just bot up again in a few minutes

ok to end the discusion right here (not 100% true) but YOU CAN get unbanned. (this is for kms or jms i think) You have to pay 2 times your level plus a couple of fees. After you do that then you get your character back yet without any items. ( your guy is rapped i think). I think it isnt worth it un;ess you have 200+ dollars to use becasue theres no use in getting a lvl 70 unbanned when youi can sart all over and bot higher. (rember kms and jms characters ARE cheap unless there 100+ because of the simple fact that theres soooo many)
PS : don't flame me cuz im not 100% sure. if you have your own insights then post it :P

Okay when you logon and you connect to the server, the MS server compares their data to yours so they can compare and correct errors right?

ex.

Level. Server: 44 Your computer: 44
XP. Server 33% Your computer: 33%

And then things like your GG files which is why we all do server emulation >_>

Thats when you change it.

So

Banned: Server (Yes- You cross it out and put no) (You: No, most likely easier to change that)

To do this you'd have to have a program to delay the progress and a program that can edit packets or something.

tis is same as mSEA.. your ac will be banned for 60 days for hacking.. after the banned period.. u need to pay $$ amount of level X 2 of the char caught hacking + a copy of the hack program
all items also will be removed from all the chars in tat account
oh yeah.. u need something to ID yerself as the owner of the ac like ID card or driving license

This is a true rumor between two of my best friends...

One of my best friends hacked on Khaini for about 2 months and got a level 70 Dragon Knight functional. The next day he was banned. So he wrote an email telling Wizet about "working undercover to stop hackers...by hacking" or some crap about that and was unbanned a week later. I heard this from my other friend. I didn't hear about paying anything and stuff...it might be because this was on Maplestory Global.

well to the perosn talking about his theory on getting unbanned ( packet editing) i belive you can use WPE for that but it's still impossible. ( not impossible but HELLA hard) cuz everything is most likely encrypted and if you have the skills to decifer ti and blah blah blah with it than you should waste your time on something else.

I believe the above poster that got unbanned with his 9x ranger would be YoungLink.. I remember seeing him on the banlist.. and then seeing him again in the free markets oO
