Okay well I did some optimization, etc. and am going to give the arcade another shot.
It is installed now, and should be working, if this increases server load by a lot I will try limiting the number of games any one user can play per day (that will hopefully lessen load if we need to). Otherwise at the moment it is fully functional without any restrictions.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the arcade will work fine this time around ;)

BTW arcade itself might take a while to load but rest of the forums should be fine, hopefully ;)

erm it's complicated :x apache crashed (like it likes to do sometimes) and I sorta forgot to set to to restart itself automaically every 15 mins or so like it used to because I was testing some things that needed apache up for longer than 15 mins at a time, so I disabled the auto restart, etc., etc., etc.

well since the arcade's been off MPC has had no trouble with me, before i was getting 20+seconds loading time and sometimes time out. I wondered if it was still this DNS thing but obviously not .-.

arcade might be down for a day or two, it seems some *****s were using the index of the arcade (lots of queries and slow to load) to slow down the forums. I will be trying to optimize the index of the arcade a bit in the next few days and we'll see how that goes ;)

easier said than done it wasn't a member, and though arcade is closed for guesta it still took a while for it to process the user, figure out it was a guest and display the no permission error

Is there anyway to lower this. I know your trying to keep out people who just sign up to MPC to play in the arcade. But is it possible to change it to Sign up date rather than post? :)
