This is really strange ...

When i run the downforce, it turns off my computer.
I tried it on my other computer with 1200 mhz and it w0rked perfect ... :S

My specs:

amd athlon 2400+
1024 mb
Geforce4 Ti 4200

Could it be my hardware or just software?

I think they changed their HW checking code. The people get kicked for HWBan=A32BitNumber, that means pb is able to identify the serials/MACs/whatever even if spoofing is started. Maybe they also get data from other devices, or they use new communication methods or they started to use the Vendor/Device valuesBy Trundle.

Im Not an expert in coding,but since i play AA(At least 3 years!),an HW,its the same ban on every game supported by Pb.For shure the thinking of Trundle its on the right way.
They got to make something diferent for Aa PB Version...Sneaky Move from PB.But soner or later we going to win...We allways do.


so I think I will stop developping DownForce soon and give the source to temp2, a very good, well-known coder of this community who is much better than me, so he can continue developing it if he want.By Trundle.

That will be a good idea Trundle,the only problem i see on that is,since someone leaked Temp2 SDK,temp as been a little away from MPC.(And he have a very good reason!).

I just said that it will be quiete hard to fix those kick problems because it is working perfect for me (in fact I am playing right now with the spoofer) and so if I cannot fix it I will give the source to someone else who can continue coding it.

Anyway, I tryed a lot of stuff. I extracted the pb driver, decrypted the encryption etc. and now I am able to run that HW checking code without joining a server. Unfortunately everything is like before and I cannot see any new checks :(

Downforce is still working for me. Just got off another 2.5 hours of AA.
I even started my computer in Safe Mode and still it shuts down my computer while starting pb downforce.

In Safe Mode all non-necessary programs are closed so it is something iny my windows folder i guess ?


EDIT: Okey i already found the problem ... It was actually my antivirus (BitDefender 9 Pro) who was blocking downforce even when i closed it and also killed the process of it.

So i tried to uninstall it and now it works :D

now i need the key for my hw hash .. trundle check pm? let me atleast try maybe it still work for some.

So, finally I decided that I will stop development on PB DownForce and other cheats/hacks/whatsoever.
That means that there won't be any new releases, neither private nor public ones.

Why?
Many reasons :frown:
Cheating sucks. Seriously. Developing cheats is fun (sometimes), but playing with cheats is lame and ruins the game imo. Also it is much more fun to legitly pwn enemies without hacks.
Coding cheats/hacks are getting more and more boring. Most of the time I am limited to code something that someone else wrote and and now i want to return to real game programming, the section where I came from one year ago...
Bad things happened in the past (e.g. : people selling my stuff), bad things still happen today (people tell shit about me, people releasing my stuff with their name (F*CK ***********!!!) )
PB Updated their Hardware checking code in the AAO Client / Server, and it's only a matter of time when they take it over to the other clients/servers) and at the moment I am not able to find the problem with PB DownForce (nearly everyone is kicked, even when a private BETA is used, it's only working fine for me :( ). Maybe they use unspoofable code (CPUID :dead: )?!

Anyway, I will think about giving the source to someone else so he/she can continue developping PB DownForce, but, to be honest, I already tried everything and I don't think someone else can fix it. Hooking functions of the ring0 api is not the right solution. A kernelmode PB Hack should be better...

If you really want a spoofer which will fix your hw ban for ever, contact BlackDove, he is selling a private spoofer which is completly different to PB DownForce (I think it's a PB Hack) which should fix your problem for ever.

All in all it was a nice time here; I met many n00b's who asked questions without reading the READMEs, I met some very smart people (temp2, tami, kizzi, poli, SAMi, Hummi etc.) and I met the best moderators of the world (gil & T0m)

You have done simply said (yes SIMPLY,because i'm not exagerating here at all), VERY much
for this community including UC, by creating and releasing Spoofers which i would never of guessed
of a person that just "hops" into AAO, and then suddenly creates one, and immediately releases it
without even giving out private versions, now THAT is being Nice to the community,
and i am 100 % sure that everybody here agrees with me right now,
and appreciated that with their whole heart.
Also you are a magnificent coder from what i have seen, and i wish you good luck with your future projects,too !

It was our pleasure having you here.
I still remember you at the begining, coming out of no where with a d3d hack and looking for beta testers. No body wanted to test it for you. Everyone was sure that you're another noob or a scammer or whatever not.

In the end, you did make a good working d3d hack and much much more, on the top your long lasting PB HW Spoofers.

It's sad to here that you're not going to release anymore, but I surely hope we'll see you posting around.

Sad to hear that you are leaving Trundle all the stuff you released was good.


PB Updated their Hardware checking code in the AAO Client / Server, and it's only a matter of time when they take it over to the other clients/servers) and at the moment I am not able to find the problem with PB DownForce (nearly everyone is kicked, even when a private BETA is used, it's only working fine for me ). Maybe they use unspoofable code (CPUID )?!
btw:Just to let you know PB downforce 0.2 still works for me i dont have any trouble with it.

So, finally I decided that I will development on PB DownForce and other cheats/hacks/whatsoever. … That means that there won't be any new releases, neither private nor public ones. … Anyway, I will think about giving the source to someone else so he/she can continue developping PB DownForce, but, to be honest, I already tried everything and I don't think someone else can fix it. Hooking functions of the ring0 api is not the right solution. A kernelmode PB Hack should be better...


Whilst I’d love to have the source … Just a suggestion – why not open a sourceforge project and drop the code there if your pulling out fully. That way it’s up to people here to learn and solve the problem they created for themselves.



Cheating sucks. Seriously. Developing cheats is fun (sometimes), but playing with cheats is lame and ruins the game imo. Also it is much more fun to legitly pwn enemies without hacks.


Cheating is a mathematic inevitability based upon there being a benefit to someone and the anonymous disassociated nature of the Internet – check out game theory and prisoner paradox.

Personally I find it bizarre that finding ways to manipulate our environment and automating repetitive and pointless tasks is demonised. Isn’t that what civilisation and progress is all about? Furthermore is it cheating that a person with poor eye sight wears glasses? Poor hearing uses a hearing aid? A disabled person uses autofire?

Personally what I find annoying is people ruining other peoples fun and having no respect for other peoples values. I don’t give a monkeys if someone else cheats as long as I feel like I had affair chance and enjoyed myself.

I'm kind of sad also, but I always knew that for real good wannabe programmers cheat coding is just a step they will pass through fast. You are an intelligent person, you always say what you want to say. I know how much time you spent testing pb downforce, I know how one can spend 15 minutes just to test 2 lines of code in a driver. For your invested time, all my respect. At least you learned something serious from the cheating, how to write and use drivers. That is something you wont learn anywhere else unless you are winternal. You never told me how your driver is written, you only told me how it is not written. So I don't want your sources, I want that a problem for me to solve. If I ever get the ambition for it, like you had. Move on. Oh, yes, they didnt changed any HW ID gathering method, since the old 0.2 is working for me, and many others too. You can compare what is the difference between 0.2 and the new pbdf.
