DETECTED!!

This is the second release of the HW Spoofer 'PB DownForce' (The first semi-public release was called 'Project PBS', but finally I decided to rename it to 'PB DownForce' because lots of people mixed it up with my DirectX-hack 'Project PB')
!!!WARNING!!!
This is BETA release. This tool works perfectly for me (Windows XP Prof. with SP2) and this __should__ work for every one else with WinXP and SP2, but I am not sure.
You use this on your own risk. Create a complete backup before you use this tool!!!
If there are problems(BSODs?) restart your computer, delete the files and send me the kernel crash dump!

Usage:
-run 'main.exe'
-press 'Start spoofing'

FAQ:
I can't stop the spoofer because the 'Stop spoofing' button is grey
There are still open 'connections' (e.g. a programm doing some I/O or a programm forgot to free its 'connections')

You see every serial/NIC changed. Maybe your HW banned is fixed and you are kicked because of something else? Maybe a firewall or something else is blocking PB?!

hello boys.

2 months ago with OBT i was able to play AA again
before that i was hw-banned and coulndt play for X Months

i was in hospital and coulndt play AA for about 1 month now
and what did i have to see after joining a server?

now i searched the forums and found OBT is not working anymore with the new PB-Update

OK then i saw the next Release: PB Downforce 0.2 -> downloaded it and started program
and started Spoof and let the program open while i tried to start aa and connect to a server - but what i see again?

Solaris HAS BEEN PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THIS GAME SERVER VIA PUNKBUSTER ... GLOBAL PUNKBUSTER HARDWARE BAN 92E4xx.x.xx.x.x.xx.x

in OBT i just hided Physical Drive 1 under GLOBAL ( cause i got 2 in my PC - Physical Drive 0 and 1 ) and it was enough for PB - it was working fine but now it isnt cause of the update

then i tried following:

started OBT and hided crazy - Physical Drive 0 and 1 and some other shit then
started PB-Downforce 0.2 and started spoof then
started AA and connected to a server and what did i see?

and from which service you get the information, stated in Perform test button output

i think i know why it is not working for me - cause you have to spoof before windows service for Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) starts :bunny:

so is there anyone who can play with PB-Downforce 0.2 and got XP Pro??????????????????

nice work, but only lasted about 20 mins for me in BF2 Demo... then got booted with my hardware ban.... i wonder what else pb is scanning on systems??

My drives are in raid:JBOD and spofed mac as well, and no go...

Mmmh. I don't know. I made that spoofer for the PB of AAO.
The problem is that it works perfectly for me (and I know many other people who are using it without problems, too!), and so I can't really help you :\

so basically you can use a detected hack and your cd-key and GUID won't get banned?...it masks it... well does PB still kick you after 2mins.. and wouldnt the masked serials and stuff be banned since alota people use this... just a few Q's so i can install bf2 and hack again.

Trundle: i run my drives in raid:JBOD since my 2 drives are diff sizes? could that be whats causin pb to catch me? i noticed i get an "error" as well in the s.m.a.r.t section when i run the test in the spoofer.... see below..

Are you using an external RAID controller? Or are you using software RAID?

If you use a real RAID controller then PB can't detect you as there is no Serial # for such a hard disk (2 disks -> 1 disk ). I'd suggest you get some RAID controller, e.g. Promise, that should do it.

Well, its a lanparty NF4 SLI, so there is onboard raid in the bios, but there is also a nvidia raid driver as well for winxp pro... hrm, so i guess that means its not a "real" raid setup then since it uses software and is on board?

hrm, well what would a controller go for... i may grab a pci lan card as well, for the $15 they go for, it it works, its worth it.... can't affd to buy new hard drives right now...

thx for the help ill keep messin' away and let you guys know if i have any luck (btw also changed the mac on my router to both try it as the sam as my SPOOFED onboard lan, and its one completly seperate random mac and no difference, so ya, sounds like it may be the hard drives.....

No, you don't need a MAC change. And yeah, there is a risk of BSODs (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Screen_Of_Death) . So use at own risk; I suggest you to do a backup with Norton Ghost before ;)

ya not sure what they are catching... im wondering if it has to do with the fact im using JBOD in raid, not raid 0, but from what i read ANY raid config will still make all physical drives as one entity in windows so it shouldnt be the problem, also tired without my router hooked up and same deal... relaly puzzeling... maybe my printer? i unplugged the usb cable and no difference, maybe i should uninstall the printer itself from windows (drivers etc) as well to be safe and see if that makes a difference... and i know it's not a matter of GUID bans, since im using AA AND BF2 demo and making new keys/guid hashes for each try (and even re-installing aao each time as i hear it makes a new key at install)..

I also checked the nic mac address via cmd prompt and upconfig /all and the secondary lan is only one showing up and it shows spoofed ok... i disabled my firewire and other ports, and removed my audigy2 card as well, since it has fire wire...

i wonder if there is anything in the bios that could be the culpret? theres ALOT of settings in the bios for this lan party board, its quite a detailed bios for overclocking and all that...

other possibilty is yes, maybe the onboard lan (there are 2 on this board) when spoofed, is still somehow seen by punkbuster through the spoofing... so im gonna try disabling LAN2 which i use currenty, and go back to LAN1 and spoof that and see if there is a change.. failing that im going to go buy a pci lan card and try, and failing that, maybe a dediated raid controller for my drives... and failing that i guess ill have to save up to buy 2 new identical drives and do raid 0... failing that a new computer when i can afford it, failing that ill go find out where the guys who run evenbalance live and ill go spit on their door knobs...

lol... bastards...

also, im thinking if they do ban based on printers and fire wire, i just pulled my audigy, and removed the softare after reboot.. as far as devices in the controll pannel, there is no audigy, but maybe theres some 'left over' drivers from it still hiding in the system that is allowing pb to recognise it some how... i dont know... really confusing and annoying.. but hopefully if i can work out what it is, it can be of use to you and the others as well for more info on what pb uses for bans....

ill keep you guys posted as i work on it...

I found i still had registry entries and drivwrs from my audigy2, so i removed them, and also switched to my 1st onboard lan, ran the spoofer and it works! wee!

Nah, you HW Ban is fixed with the spoofer and now you are kicked for a white file kick. That's nothing special. There is an invalid or old file in you armyops-folder. I suggest you to reinstall AAO again :bunny:

When I developped the spoofer, I got lots of BSOD's and I 'fixed' all of them by rebooting again! It is highly unlikely that there is a real damagage like a loss of the system. Anyway, this release should not give BSODs, and even if you get one, the worst thing would be, that you had to reinstall WindowsXP!

PayPal does take actions against this kind of things. Maybe they're slow but also efficient.
The best way is to go in both routes you've mentioned. As you said in the end, they don't always need a legal proof.

My guess is that you don't actually have a legal trademark or copyright, but use the argument of stolen intellectual property or lie. If I was in charge of hosting, they'd be cancelled anyway even without any legal proof that the program is protected under copy laws.

I have been speaking with him for the last half an hour, He aint a bad guy.
He is from EwC which the original site for the EwC clan was developed by
my good friend 'Gaston' who I have known for many years.

He seems to be saying Maz is the corprate here from ***********.
Apparantly since Maz's hacks are all detected and he has no where to go
this is the only way he can make money.

He claims the site could be easily taken down but there
is no way of preventing Maz from bringing it up in another location.

All funds from this MSX Project are meant to be going to a person named 'Unich'
as some kind of debt Maz owes.

I will post more as I continue digging deeper into the rabbit hole.

An email has been sent to the domain host's showing the situatation
at hand and paypal has been contacted as a side note.

That's why I encourage people to hardware lock their stuff (if applicable) or put some type of unmodifiable notification saying that if you paid for the program, you are getting ripped off.

Mmhhh, finally I think he is also a victim. I just did some research in the forum of *********** (I got an account from a friend of mine). There is said, that bf2vault is hosted by a guy named "splicer"... Just one thing does not seem to match! How did that guy know, that I know Dave?

He also sold the old version of DownForce, Project PBS...

This sort of thing happens all the time, you should have added some more security such as self CRC checking (!not that you should have to!), and if invalid self delete. But dont take this as a sign that people dont enjoy your work and hacks, you are good at what you do and for that i commend you.

Just do as Tamimego has suggested (and done ?) and report them anywhere you can.

I would just like to say the following:
Splicer was a VIP on msx. He started selling a HW spoofer through PM's but I nixed that as soon as I found out about it, and *****'d his site name from the forums. We have nothing to do with him at all. We have our own hw spoofer, and anyone who knows me knows that I wouldnt trust ANYONE with my money, so the idea of us using his paypal is ridiculous.

I have a Global hardware GUID ban, purchased new cd key, re installed agme with new key and got a new H/W ban. Partial research suggests Downforce 0.2 will spoof my id, however I have tried using the spoofer and it simply occupies all my processing time and appears to not be responding, when using the test feature, it passes. I have xp pro sp2, bf2 1.03, amd3500 2gig ram, 7800gt. Please help.

You need a new motherboard and harddrive.if you have a sound card with a fire port on it this will also be banned.New CD Key for the game as well.Punkbuster takes a "shot" of your hardware and i think that all Network ports (i.e Nic , fire wire) are logged and come up on the ban list.PB must ban by % of serials on that computer,i had to change motherboard,harddrive and sound blaster,it has firewire,all the rest is OK thank ****.i can still use the GTX7800 and the AMD 64x2 an d2 Gig of corsair XL

That is not because of a HW ban, but because of a GUID ban. Meaning basicaly make yourself a new account.

Only problem about this spoofer, that on my XP Corp SP2 I can't unload the driver the update function till reports 4 connect, even after I shut the game and waited half an hour. And after that I can't shut my windows down anymore.
But it works, and yes, PB is not banning my device hash.
if ur talking about it wont stop spoofing it after you play a aao then ether just leave it spoofed and exit or just restart ur computer because it should reset everything once you restart but if thats not what ur talkin about ignore this and own some AC's

Mmmmh. I just played 2min with the public DownForce (0.2) and 20min with the private DownForce and I didn't get kicked and BF2 didn't crash. Strange. But hey, it's PB *lol*
Anyway, to be honest, I don't really want to release a fixed version. I gave PB the source (you know my reasons) and so it does not give sense to release a fixed version?!
If you really want a working spoofer, I suggest to buy one of the commercial alternatives (e.g. the one of BlackDove)

Mmmmh. That's right. I won't release the full source, but I think I can post a simple tutorial about how to code a working kernel spoofer (so noone can just c/p the stuff without learning anything).

No that is *NOT* how you use it, you can't resart your computer! If u restart it returns to the normal serials. Just hit start spoofing (no pb sucks mode) and then hit the little red X in the top right and ur good to go. If you want to trun it off then u restart your computer. This still works fine for me. No HW ban.

Followed instructions, ran test - hardware appeared as spoofed, but still got hardwar (hard disk serial number) ban.
Seems like PB figured out how to read original serial numbers.
Windows XP Pro if it does matter.
That's because Trundle sent the source code to PB, some moron sold his spoofer for ALOT of money on Ebay.

So it wont work anymore...

It is not over yet. PB creates a file pbns.dat which looks like a patch for your spoofer. Then it might be possible to patch this pb patch.

yea there seems to be a changing of version PB's driver going on atm sometimes they use v7 and at other times they use v135 to qurey HW.

hi guys

I got a GLOBAL punkbuster HARDWARE BAN around 1 hour ago so i used downforce and made a new account and logged into the server but just as the "choose weapon and spawn point" screen was coming up i got kicked from the server with this message:

RESTRICTION: Blocked O/S Priveleges 4fc

Does anyone know how i can get this message off my bf2? i have already tried reinstalling but after some minutes i get this message again :(

it works for some people, but I am kicked/the game crashes (<-this is a usual method for pb to remove players who have some very "bad" hacks/tools like debuggers) when I try to play my PB games (AAO 2.6 and BF2 1.3). It may work for other people (maybe even for AAO and BF2 where I am kicked), but I gave them the source, I gave them the code for detecting the spoofing-method and for getting the original serials/MACs when the spoofer is loaded and so IN MY OPINION (I haven't checked PB's hw hashing code for AAO and BF2 yet so I don't know what they really do) it's detected and everyone who is not kicked uses a PB client which is not updated yet (remember every PB game uses other code to get the serials/MACs and I don't think that they updated the client for every game at once) or the cd-key/GUID is "silent banned" and in two weeks you get a nice "CD Key Banned" kick.

Anyway, as I said before I am quiete busy but I hope I can release 0.21 soon (Maybe I will name it 0.4 because there are so many new things so a major version increase is acceptable). The methods are working (I just played 20min BF2 and AAO and I wasn't kicked); I just have to fix some small bugs. But I can't promise anything because fixing these bugs may take lots of time and then there will be a private beta first!

This is HW spoofer, this program is for people who have been HW banned by PB. They can run this program and still be able to play on PB servers.

spoke to him and well hes haveing a bit of a problem compileing a beta for me to test out and shit. he says there some kind of bug in the script/program and told me that hes gonna give it to me to start the beta testing and hopefully release the public version.

When come a new version of Pbdownforce?
there are some advanced feats but you wont really need use them i can't give detailed info because i'm not sure if thats what he wants but lets just say it runs smoother, faster, and harder for pb to catch even tho they have the old spoofer source.

Battle HUD 3D v0.2a is a Battlefield 2 hack that actually works online and offline. Did singleplayer and it was fun but when i tried on a ranked server with an old Bf 2 demo acc pb kicked me for 2 min for some hack # code thing.

well if u get caught with it then theres nothing to lose because ur already hwbanned lol but if ur really asking how fast can pb catch this then its gonna take them some time because Trundle has almost rewrote the whole code to where its alot harder for them to catch this even tho they have the source and the know-how to catch old spoofers.

p.s: and as for beta testing my comp crashed and scared the crap out of me lol but its worth it in the end for MPC.

well, here's a little update on the work on the new PB DownForce. The current beta version is very "stable" (it worked for three of my four beta tester without any problems, the fourth one wasn't online yet but I think it will work for him, too.).
Anyway, while testing the beta a "problem" occured. Basically the system is slowed down (1 - 10%). This is not acceptable, and so the code must be optimized (that means I have to recode the critical parts in inline asm!) before I can release it. Also I want to code my own protector for the release build because public, free protector sux and I don't have the money for buying a commercial protector.
Sorry, it will take longer than planned but I want a working and fast release which is "undetected" for more than a month.

what do u mean by option update? do you mean like a button u can push to check for updates? if so then no or trundle hasent told me anything about that. and as for the testing of the beta spoofer its worked for all 4 of us and trundle has told me that hes just got to do some more scripting for the protecter *lol i know i can't spell* and i think some minor tweaks to the spoofer itself for it to run smoother and faster. so for you people that are waiting like crazy its not that long.

0.2 still works. its not detected. I play Bf2, AA, Bf1942, and COD2 with it and i havnt been kicked once. Just hit Start Spoofing and exit it. Your spoofing will continue until you restart your computer.

i just thought that beta testers still are fundemental in the release. crew is just another word for group; group meaning more than 1 person.

yeah i know, we are a group/crew but trundle does all the codeing thats what i ment to say and i have to make that clear because i dont want credit for something i did't code. i'm just a tester.

Seriously, don't expect a working solution that will lift your HW ban forever. The new method is very, very "dark" (one of the darkest hack's I have ever made), there could be serious problems with your system if something failed and like always no method is perfect. There will be still ways to detect "the method" and there will be also ways to get the original serial numbers/MACs, although it's quiete hard to figure those ways out and I am pretty sure it will take the PB programmer(s) a long time to update their code ;)

Well, basically the private version has an advanced stealth mode, the service supports three spoofing methods (instead of one in the public version; if one method is "detected" I just have to click a radiobutton for the second/third method). Also the private version has a GUI with debug console (+ serveral debug commands), there is advanced logging and last but not least I am able to fake-hide the current HDs and NCs and create fake HDs and NCs with serials/MACs I can set. That means theoretically I am able to HW ban every player on this world. I just have to hide my HDs and NCs, create fake HDs and NCs with the players' serials and MACs, join a PB server with a detected hack which gives HW bans and whoooooooosch, the player has a HW Ban :)
