Use at your own risk. From a little encouragment from felikz's work, I decided to go ahead and give it a try myself for DODS. Well I didnt go to the extreme's that felikz did. I made the fortifications, some furniture, crates, and some props transparent. If you'd like to go ahead and make more transparent go ahead, It's really easy. Its personal reasons why I didnt go ahead and make everything transparent.

Place folders in your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\**Username**\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models

Process:

-Download VTF Explorer here http://www.hl2source.com/files/vtfexplorer13_setup.exe

-Search through VTF explorer under SteamApps go to day of defeat
source.gcf/dod/materials/models/ folder.

-Right click on the models folder within browser section of VTF Explorer and click on Extract. (Put it somewhere like the desktop)

-You will get a series of folders with VMT and VTF files within.

-Use the one VTF file within any folder of this FS Wallhack to continue with the hack.

-Copy the VTF file for example under Italian Furniture italianHacked.vtf. Place this within another folder you extracted through VTF Explorer that you want to use the hack in.

-Now with any other folder you want to continue with this hack, look for the VMT files. Again anything you want to further hack right click on the VMT file and if you have word pad open it in that or regular notepad.

-Below is an example of the code which you need to put in place of the code that is already within the VMT file.

Make sure if you change the name of the hacked VTF file that you change the name of it within the $baseTexture. Also make sure you get the directory right within $baseTexture depending on which folder you are wanted to have transparent models in.

IF I use this hack, will I get banned or will they detect I Have this hack?

ALso if I get banned, do I get banned from playing any DOD server? or just the particular server that banned me?

most probably u can only get banned from a server admin who suspects u of obvious WHing

I was fixing the other textures like Brick and Wood. SHouldn't I replace the
"$surfaceprop" "glass"
To something like surfaceprop "concrete" becasuse when shots hit the walls it makes a glass breaking sound.

Just wanted to say, spent many hours making all the textures mirrors. IN DODs, I used to be maybe top 10 on my server, I was really good before cheating, but with this mirror hack I'm like TOp player now.

I feel kind of bad about using this cheat though, mostly because the not so good players don't stand a chance. But I must say that the better players are probably using some kind of cheats anyway. I decided to look for cheats because I figured there was no way these other players can be so good without cheating. THey used to always get me first when coming around corners, probably because they are using some kind of wall hack also.


Must say that already I'm getting people saying I cheat, saying I use an Aim BOT, which I don't use. My aim is terrible though, especially considering I only use the thompson. People said I cheat before, but now its more common, and the thing is I try not to make it obvious that I can see through walls, just incase someone is watching.
But I don't know why people are saying i'm using aimbot, I guess somehow the increased reaction time of knowing where the player is makes it seem like your using an aimbot.
but it should be obvious if anyone is observing me play that my aim totally sucks, especially when i unload full clips with the thompson and don't kill the enemy many times.

But I'm going to cut back on the cheating in DODs, because I don't want to get banned.

Outcasted don't make it so noticable them, lol. Also that code I gave you just use that and nothing else. I'm not really sure why it make a glass breaking sounds. It doesnt do that for me.

Is it possible for me to change the texture of the walls, too?
I made almost everything in the /materials/models folder, and I'm wondering if I can do the same to walls.

Yeah infini7y its possible, Just edit the files in:

dod/materials/kalt
dod/materials/brick
dod/materials/concrete
dod/materials/ground
dod/materials/metal
dod/materials/stone
dod/materials/RUBBLE
dod/materials/wood
dod/materials/tile


You can get rid of smoke effects, rain, and snow too, edit the contents of:

dod/materials/PARTICLE

Yes, it's possible to change the texture. Find a new texture you want to use. Then you can just rename it the same as the .vtf file in the folder. For example, rename your new texture to 'fortificationsHacked.vtf' and overwrite the old file in the 'props_fortifications' folder. The .vtf file in the folder is the texture used for all the .vmt files.

(...\Steam\SteamApps\X\day of defeat source\dod\materials)
Then you launch DOD:S and join a server.

well...some textures were missing such as the ones in props_urban, and i just put the ones not already in there in there, and also edited the .vtf so it matched the ones it came with, but it doen't seem like its wallhacked. also, how do i do this with the rest of the files in materials/models and the other materials in the 'materials' folder?

There are instructions on how to it in the first post.

That code needs to be added into the .vmt files. Also, I think it's the default .vtf file you're using that isn't working. You need to use a glass .vtf file. You can only change the material of the texture.

Also done the trees and vehicle now

Then how do you remove the smoke? As I read here its in PARTICLE folder, but the vmt files are diffrent, and if you just do it the same way as the others dod wont lauch becouse of an error in the file.

Try doing this. This is how nosmoke materials work for CS:S.
In the 'PARTICLE' folder you should have a 'particle_smokegrenade1.vmt' file.
Delete all the content in it and put in this code.

"WriteZ"

Don't worry about the 'particle_smokegrenade.vtf' file. You shouldn't have to use it with the .vmt file.

Try doing this. This is how nosmoke materials work for CS:S.
In the 'PARTICLE' folder you should have a 'particle_smokegrenade1.vmt' file.
Delete all the content in it and put in this code.

Don't worry about the 'particle_smokegrenade.vtf' file. You shouldn't have to use it with the .vmt file.

Doenst seem to work. It wont start the game and tells you that the file is invalid

ok, I'm stuck now
I extracted all the files to my desktop
then replaced them with the ones from the download, how do I get them in the gcf?

EDIT:
alright, I just created materials folder, and put all the folders from that file in there
but nothing :|

It's possible to make walls wallhacked but it would just be a very big procedure to do. This is a post I made in the FS Wallhack thread for CSS explaining half the process.

side note: i tried a modified vmt to remove the smoke particles, but whenever i join a server it kicks me out due to consistency check. anyway to bypass that?

I can't understand on how this works, i extracted the models folder but the files inside of it are vtx or vvd files, did i do something wrong?

Simple: MAKE SURE VTF EXPLORER IS SET TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING DIRECTORY:


Day of defet.gcf/materials/models and NOT day of defeat.gcf/models !!!

Secondly NOT: day of defeat/***user name***/dod/ etc.

I hope it clears up everyone minds.

Also:

Randomjester please stop copying and pasting such stuff as its clearly wrong: there are NO wallchaked walls in those prop's files, opnly some random furniture and fortifications which are completely not used on some maps. Thats is why some people are sying why things are not working as there are no real wallhacked models.

I am confused here and I extracted the models folder and it has the .vtf files in it. I am not sure what you mean when u rename it to Hacked b/c i don't have a hack file i don't think. I already downloaded the VTF explorer but I'm confused please help me!

That is a screenshot of someone's custom wallhacked materials.
Have you tried all of the available wallhacks that I posted here: (Link (http://www.mpcforum.com/showpost.php?p=1411744&postcount=34)).
If none of those wallhacks are what you're looking for than you should learn how to make custom wallhacked materials. By learning how you could make certain places in a map wallhacked for your liking.
