thanx for this alternative to art money.
a question: do you have to click "set fog" each time a map is loaded or is it applied forever?

When I click 'get fog' I get a zero returned. If I set fog to 101 - 499 doesn't appear to change anything.

Am I doing something wrong, TCB?

1.31, no-cd patch, no mods installed.

TIA

Nox, you may have solved my problem:

I am trying this with RtR; is it not compatible with this?

Am i a stinkin' i-diot? hold on, dont answer that one.

None of these no fog trainers work for me, the game copy world .com one, VDF 1.31 which was posted above, etc.

Do these go in a certain directory, do I start the trainer first, or BF first? Another fog trainer has the fog removable and replaceable with F11 and F12, and that doesn't work either.

Do I have to change a certain *.con file from read-only to archive, or unpack all of my RFA files or something or just Levels.rfa?

Help! This is ticking mr. dum dum off.

you must be setting the fog over 500 or you have a rubbish pc

hey i noticed the skipping of location for objects at long distance witht he nofog hack was less noticable setting connection at faster speed, eg, T1 rather than DSL, but me having a 1500k line does help. those of you without fast connections will have to put up with the lag at long distances.

Mine seems to be working great. It is the only fog hack that has worked for me.

I cant even get the cursor to change the settings. I have a new P4 with XP and a Gforce 3 vid card. Do I need to lowere any of the video settings first.

does it matter if you have an ATI card instead of a Geforce, or vice versa?

I have an ATI and dont have much luck with fog hacks....

The reason for that Wmase is that BF uses DMA so one of the adresses changes every game and the other never changes it will always use the same memory slot in your computer.
When i did it with artmoney my comp always ended up finding 2 values. 1 was diff every time i quit and reopened and the other stayed the same the whole time, so I realised you really only gotta set that one value. But then i realised it is different for every computer(dunno about every, but most anyway)
DMA sux
Tsearch is the only basic memory editor I know that has the auto hack feature.(allows you to view game code) This enables you to see were the game code is injecting the adresses into the memory

Good Luck to everyone with there trainers

no luck for me either. i tried all the progs listed above plus the one from *************. i think they've got the cheat pretty much fixed. can't believe EA got something to work correctly. i think they should have focused on fixing the sound etc.. instead of worrying about simple cheats.

p.s. if anyone has better instructions on how to eliminate fog on a lan game please let me know:confused:

yes and thats how my no fog hack editor was made 1 addy from origanal fog address and the dma addy

I used the tutorial, and found the address that was the view distance, and when I changed the number, it changed in tsearch etc, so it was verified as the correct address.

So, I made the trainer and put in the address and the poke values, but it had no effect, either in normal or RtR games.

Does this sound like an error somewhere when I made the trainer, or am I chasing the gold at the end of the rainbow?

:-)

Joe Bongo (but recently taking the name 'Billy Biscuit Balls' in EAUK servers when up to no good ;-)

Yeah, it returns a value of 0 for me when I hit get value. It's probably not working because I'm running Road to Rome and it likely has a different memory address.

Tested it in game and there's no discernable difference. I'm eagerly awaiting a RTR version...Not that I need it because I'm so good already hahaha! (Well, I guess 7000th ain't bad, that's top 10% @ www.bfstats.com)

It'd be nice to get those pesky spawn camping snipers from the opposite spawn though.
