When installing f.e.a.r it gets into coping files then the installer crashes with the error mentioned. once the ok butten is pushed the installer exits. this also happens for another game i purchased "C&C: the first decade" i brought them both at the same time brought them home installed 1 .. had the error then decided to fix it later and play fear . then that did it too. ive scoured the internet for hours for solutions . but nothing seems to help. I have a feeling its the dvd rom but i cant say for sure. they are both completly legit .
