Custom Config

Maybe some people could help me in creating a custom config.cfg for my computer specs. I don't need anything to look good, I want good performance.

Thanks for posting the download. Theres alot of settings in there, but I can't tell what I would want to keep in, remove out, or change because its not in English.

Hmm.. in my Scripting Tutorial also provided detailed information on each command for CS and HL.. If you are interested and have questions regarding commands, check it out.. Btw, I remember making once a Tweaking Tutorial for CS amongst other games.. I will look around in my cds and see if I can find it..

heres a handy lil tip for ya'll

the command hpk_maxsize refers to a *.hpk file in your cstrike directory. this file stores all custom decals etc that u see online. go see how large the file is - probably 25Mb

if this is set to 0 ( hpk_maxsize 0 ) then this file just gets bigger and bigger - it affects how quickly you join servers.

do this

hpk_maxsize 1

this means when it reaches 1mb in size - it will be deleted and starts again.

i always wondered why i was always the 1st into servers after map changes, even on a 200 ping. now u know y

Hmmmm .. with your Computer i would play with a Standart CFG....

The coustom cfgs are only there to get more performance..... but with your machine *wow*

The only think: Get coustom netsettings :D

my advice would be to edit the netcode too :)
but ehm btw what does ur net_graph look like?

im just curious if any1 got a method to edit it just perfectly :)
