I've seen this posted many many times before. It's the same as any other UCE Tut. you see here on this forum. The only difference is that I see the link you've posted has all the required programs right there with pics, and I agree. It's "noob friendly." This is a common procedure. It just takes long thats all heh.

-.- I could've done this without the tut. Many of people can do this, it just takes long. Though this particular Tut. has been put in a more simple form, the proccess in which changing your strings will still take long. My CE on the other hand is still bypassed and undetected, my hacks work, pointers and all. But I DC after selecting a char XD.

I have followed the guide and there is 1 typo when it says to change "syndic.com/ce" u should realy change "syndiv.com/ce"

and the uce i mades GUI is detected(i no that makes it a ce and not a uce). can some1 take a look at the guid or give me abit of help. in something that may have been missed of the guide.

and the testing bit at the end could be better with more info. but all in all its a very good guide, well layed out and easy 2 follow.

When I was compiling Cheat Engine for like..the final steppish, I know you were supposed to fix the errors that came up. And I did. Well, I fixed the ones the tut said to fix, but I still had more that weren't explained. Can someone help me out?

download everything on the website that you need then go to where you download your cheat engine delphi and in that folder look for the file name driver.dat (files and folders are usually in alphabetical order) open it with notepad or any editor and look for the strings -_- hope it helps :).

lol you need to download it and install it first off here http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/wdf/KMDF_pkg.mspx download and then burn it to a cd if you dont want to or cant here http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5 download install then mount the iso file you download named "WDFv11.iso" to mount it(if you are that noob keep reading <_<)on your bottom right corner you'll see daemon tools icon is blue (now) then right click it-->virtual cd/dvd rom--->Device 0:[X] no media click that and find your iso file and mount it there you go <_<. hope that helps you too.

Okay I have a few questions.

1.) At the end of the part with Windows XP Free Build Environment, the maker of the TUT had:

7 files compiled
1 executable built

I had:

Problem?

2.) I can't find Delphi 7 to open dbk32.dpr. The closest I get is Delphi7e, which just extracts it somewhere or something.

I have those already. I download this http://www.magiciso.com/download.htm instead of daemon tools. i install it[the MagicISO thingy] and then i got "WDFv11.iso" and i thought they're the same so i deleted it. So, I'll "WDFv11.iso" and "MagicISO" and overwrite the one in MagicISO?

3I. Configuring the Cheat Engine GUI

Open cheatengine.bpg from main CE directory. Using Project Manager, open MainUnit which is under Cheatengine.exe. Double clicking on it will make the Cheat Engine GUI pop up.

This part i do not understand..i opened up MainUnit and i get a MainUnit.dpr file, instead of the Cheat Engine GUI. can any1 help me out? thx

Omg this DDK takes like years to install T_T. I'm about to get started and I want to do this right, and have searched around like 2 hours now but still was wondering a few things so I can do it right the first time around hopefully.
So am I going to replace all of the strings that are in the tut + the ones that JC listed on his thread? Is that all of them? Because under the thread listing the rev780 hooked functions, people were saying that those are strings too. Do we replace the hooked functions as with the strings, or handle them differently? I'm doing this for the first time and just need a little direction since, from my scanning of the tut, it doesn't explain how to handle the hooked functions if I remember correctly. Thanks if anyone can help me in advance my degree isn't in comp sci so I'm a little clueless but I'm still trying :rambo:

Open up cheatengine.dpr from your Main CE folder. Go to project manager and open up NewKernelHandler.pas and CeFuncProc.pas Again "File > Save As". Save into main CE folder.

NewKernelHandler.pas >> StringHandler.pas (replace? Yes!)
CeFuncProc.pas >> String55.pas

So, I open newkernelhandler.pas and save it as <insert string word>Handler.pas? And for CeFuncProc.pas, I save it as <insert string word>55.pas?

If the GUI isn't showing up change your screen resolution to something 1280 by 1024 pixels, and change back after, the GUI should appear cut off by the screen.

1.click on your desktop background and -->properties---->settings and chage the freagging resolution the little thing you can move back and forth move it >>>> then open the cheatengine.bpg and view-->projectmanager --->double click mainunit and then to the left in object inspector look for the word left and whatever number is in there replace it with "228" that should work perfectly

Nah I was talking to tehvile sorry for the confusion. Anyway this is byfar the best tut I have seen on UCE making. It makes me mad that I didnt just wait and made my UCE now, lol. This one makes Drkz tut seem like it was specifically for IIT Grad students. Oh well, when it comes to the UCE we all are leechers, even the makers of the tutorials!!!

you forgot to do this i had the same error:
Open up cheatengine.dpr from your Main CE folder. Go to project manager and open up NewKernelHandler.pas and CeFuncProc.pas Again "File > Save As". Save into main CE folder.

Hate this, this is so stupid.. the sorce codes in that tut does not include the Process Wacher!! Grr.. without that it is almost useless, so fellow cheaters/hackers and stuff get some sorcecodes where the process wacher is included.. like them i got :P ...

my advice try to chek out the CE forums. i think they have a link to some better sorce.. but are not sure ... SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS!

First off.. make a copy of your edited source before you proceed incase you mess up.

Now open cheatengine.bpg from the main directory then "save as" stringengine.bpg in main directory. Close it.

Reopen cheatengine.bpg from the main directory and "right click" on cheatengine.exe and select "view source"

Save cheatengine.dpr as stringengine.dpr Then compile it and you will get StringEngine.exe. !! <-- thats your CE exe. The name cheatengine.exe in your Projectmanager should change to stringengine.exe

Nope all you have to do is go to one of the source file. I believe it is called "MainUnit2.pas" and change the name of your UCE there. In case I was wrong on the file name, just use the "find in file" option of Delphi, it will find you the file.

Just a quick question, I'm kind of stuck when it comes to recompiling.

"When it is open.. Type "cd[space]" and then right click and paste the path to your DBKKernel folder as seen in screen shot 1. You should get something like the 2nd Screen Shot. After that press enter. If your DDK is not in the same drive as your Cheat Engine folder, then type in the drive your CE folder is in (ex. c. If you don't know what I'm talking about, or both of them are in the same hard drive then just ignore what I said about typing in the drive. Now Type in "ce" as in screen shot 3 and then press enter. Hopefully you will get something like the last screen shot"

I'm at that step and don't fully understand it. Should the line I type in for Free Build actually be "cd[space]CDocuments and Settings..."? Since there's no screenshot of this step, do I end it like "DBKKernelce"? If you can help me, wonderful, I really appreciate it.

You can use this for 781, all you have to do is figure out what else to change in order to make it work for 781. Go research and you'll find it

also, your main ce directory is the freakin folder that you extracted the ce source from.........

Your a f***ing dumbass, there are no "OLD" strings, your suppose to change the F***ing word "string" into something else. It even says that in the tut. LEARN TO READ



I just have one thing to say for all who are very determined to make a uce,

Doing this tutorial will not work unless you apply other things into it. For example, pcharing.. which hides the windows kernel functions and also one other thing, which you will have to find out for yourself. (hint, it was mention within this thread...)

There is no quick way in bypassing gg, if there was people would have uces all over the place and hackers/cheaters would freely give out uces to leechers and noobs. Before you can make a uce you will need to be close to the level of a hacker or programmer..

3F. Changing value strings (hex values)

The values we wil be changing here are 00400000 , 7FFFFFFF , 80000000. We are changing them into different values, NOT into letters/names.

We will be using the basic windows calculator. Go to Start > Run > type in "calc" OR you can just go to your calculator under Accesories. Either way, just open up calculator. Once it opens press View > Scientific > Hex

Enter one of the above values. Then click Dec add a number (ex. +5. Do not use the minus sign.) Then change back to Hex and you will get your new value! Use Search and Replace and replace the values. (Include subfolders) Mask is *.* Below I +5 to my values. You can add any number you want. You don't have to use 5.

* 00400000 >> 00400005
* 7FFFFFFF >> 80000004
* 80000000 >> 80000005

just open with txt - change the info and ctrl + s.. it should save normally

Open the above 3 named files in Delphi. Newkernelhandler is found in your main directory. The other 2 files are found in your DBK32 folder. Once opened. Go File > Save As.

well you see the blinking | which is you know the keyboard thing like if you are writing you will see a | <---- line like that but kinda blinking moving when you stop well just before that thats the word you need to replace by the string you changed like you compile and it gives you an error

I used this Tutorial, and I made a CE of my own, but I when I load ms I get restarted. I suspect that I need to redo the strings and update them with the ones that are detected now in Revision 780, but I am not sure if that is my problem. =\

I remember reading it saying that blah blah dbk32.sys/.dll is detected but not sure where to go from there. Any ideas?

p.s. I have the photos on that tutorial site. I saved the webpage before the photos stopped showing up :D

Well, if I am not mistaken you search for the string you wish to change and for replace you put in a new name for the string you are changing example:

Search: VQE

Replace: Yokoyama

it will tell the program to search through x files you have specified and everywhere it finds "VQE" it is going to replace it with "Yokoyama". And that will replace the strings for you. But you have to go through them all, and if I am not mistaken I think there are new strings, so that would add to the list of how many you'd have to change. I myself have to ask about the new strings x.x' but for now that is what I believe they are trying to tell you.

in the first box you put your string and in the second one you put your string replacement

thats all <_< but you have to be careful you see where it says "mask" as you read the tut you need to put the mask given example *.*, *.pas etc and also watch out when it says (include sub folder) which is in option tab in search and replace

Yes you make a new name for each string. It takes a while as there are many strings. My suggestion is to have notepad open, copy all the original strings, and then next to them some spaces add what you have renamed the string to, because later on you will have to manually write to one of the files in order to compile your program. There will be original strings, and you'll need to rename them to the strings you renamed them to. Example: Error in: KernelAlloc You would have to go and replace "KernelAlloc" with whatever you changed it to in the other files. So if you changed it to Goat or something, you'd write in Goat. That is just my suggestion.

But yes you need to rename the strings

String1 > Blah
String2 > Somethign
String3 > Ouch

stuff like that, and it is important that you remember what they all are too.

After that, open up Windows XP Free Build. I use this simply because I use WindowsXP. A lot of people like to use Windows 2000 Free Build. It's your choice which one you want to use. For noobs, if you cant find it go to

Start > All Programs > Development Kits > Windows DDK > Build Environment > Windows XP > WIndows XP Free Build Environment



When it is open.. Type "cd[SPACE]" and then right click and paste the path to your DBKKernel folder as seen in screen shot 1. You should get something like the 2nd Screen Shot. After that press enter. If your DDK is not in the same drive as your Cheat Engine folder, then type in the drive your CE folder is in (ex. c:). If you don't know what I'm talking about, or both of them are in the same hard drive then just ignore what I said about typing in the drive. Now Type in "ce" as in screen shot 3 and then press enter. Hopefully you will get something like the last screen shot

If all is good and well. It should say "7 files compiled. 1 Executable built." And voala! String.sys or whatever you named it will be in your main CE directory.

I am going to try to take a stab at this, but I might be wrong so don't hold my word as truth. I believe that there is a stealth function in the program that hides it from the system, your Virus scanner may be picking that up and calling it rootkit. From what I remember, rootkit was a program that was used to hide programs from the system, but I haven't seen it in a while. So i don't think it is any cause for concern about the virus scanner. However if you are getting an error compiling you need to redo your steps. It shouldn't be copying into the i386 folder because that is a folder that windows uses to reference files when it needs to copy something. if you are following the directions I don't see how it is possible to get errors like that. The photos are there, well they were. Maybe it would help to have the images x.x' But if I were you, I'd retry my steps very carefully. Because the first time I did it, I remember getting an error, and then It wouldn't rename the file the way i wanted it. Make sure you are following the directions very carefully, one mistake can really screw you up.

I was talking to someone on AIM when i was renaming the last of the strings and I renamed two strings the same thing and totally screwed myself over. I had to redo everything. So I know what that is like x.x'

Like I said, i am sure it is nothing to worry about, because if it was malicious it would have harmed our computers anyways. Rootkit is or was a program that was used to hide an application or particular function from the system(task manager) It isn't really a harmful file. After all you did create it, did you not?

Instead of c4n0n, fill it in with whatever word you want. Whenever you press modify, you are modifying a file NOT a line. Open up cheatengine.dpr from your Main CE folder. Go to project manager and open up NewKernelHandler.pas and CeFuncProc.pas Again "File > Save As". Save into main CE folder.

CeFuncProc.pas >> String55.pas
Save and close. Use search and replace and search for NewKernelHandler and CeFuncProc (do not include subfolders). Mask is " *.* "

CeFuncProc >> String55

I saw earlier in the thread a zip was given for the pictures, may I have the pictures as well? I get the "infamous" red x where a picture should be and when I double click the images, an over the maximum bandwidth message is displayed.

I opened delphi32 in Acual Search and Replace...
Inserted newkernelhandler.pas; DBK32functions.pas; DBK32.dpr into masks....
Inserted my main Cheat Engine directory into paths....
and ticks whole words....

anyone know what to do now?

LOL you have to look for the damn strings................the green words in the tut and when you find them modify all o.O -__- c'mon is in the tut <_< those are the strings that Gay guard detects so just keep following the tut

yes restart from that part you did something worng with Greenkirby70 thing is not supposed to be a string like not have the number 70 there XD remeber the first step when you put the stuff in driver.dat well the dbk32.sys file that you changed to-->XXX.sys the xxx.Handler.pas is how you should change it i guess it was Greenkirby so it should be saved as GreenkirbyHandler.pas instead of Greenkirby70.pas XD get it? is a simple mistake anyone could've done

not much posts becuz im a reader (learner). but stuck at near the end of the tut... J-C or Lady Aeribeth think you could provide some help please?

Here are my three errors left:
[Error] kunch4n055.pas(182): ';' expected but identifier 'A' not found
[Error] kunch4n055.pas(183): undeclared identifier: 'number'
[Fatal Error] disassembler.pas(5): Could not compile used unit 'symbolhandler.pas'



For the first error i think it relates to part 3.F of the tut (changing hex values) well i added +10 instead of +5 and got 0040000A and the error is referring to the 'A' in that hex value here is pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/CooFyre/errors.jpg
Also note that i marked the 2nd error on that pic too... im assuming i have to change that to a different string name?
As for the third error i have no freakin clue =P

3E. Renaming NewKernelHandler and CeFuncProc

Open up cheatengine.dpr from your Main CE folder. Go to project manager and open up NewKernelHandler.pas and CeFuncProc.pas Again "File > Save As". Save into main CE folder.

NewKernelHandler.pas >> greenkirby4handler.pas (replace? Yes!)
CeFuncProc.pas >> greenkirby69.pas

Save and close. Use search and replace and search for NewKernelHandler (NOTHING SHOWS UP ANYMORE) and CeFuncProc (do not include subfolders). Mask is " *.* "

NewKernelHandler >> greenkirby4handler.pas (change in all files EXCEPT for Newkernelhandler.pas NOT HERE)
CeFuncProc >> greenkirby69

i had that problem the first time i did tried it too.. recheck ur steps on search and replacing becuz i did a mistake and had to restart =\.
and no u open up string.dpr in teh dbk32 folder and then compile it and the string.dll will be in ur main folder. but ur problem is opening string.dpr rite?
