ak1.9g and VAC2

Does anybody know how the counter-strike 1.6 ak1.6g was detected? CRC? or another method? It'd be great if I could get some replies. Thanks

wow that hack is realy old :) was created on the start of cs1.6 right? um i don't think crc was the only thing. I can't remember was in it but i think there was someting else that triggers someting :/ string detection maybe ( back in those days ) :p
